@mjpovey8563 Still...He plays A LOT...And a golf pro who doesn't even know wich putt breaks more, downhill or uphill, is a bit embarrassing IMO. But, he knows how to create content (even though it's not my cup of tea). I'm mostly checking the videos for the actual golf courses, to get inspiration for future trips.

Yea Rick shot +10, played consistently poor shots and managed to scrape fown the 18th.
It surprised me to be honest i thought pete would hammer him......I dont think they are close on golfing ability anymore i think pete has got better and better and Rick has never improved maybe got worse! The difference in feel , finesse and ability to control the golf ball is night and day for me.
maybe the clubs who knows. Pete seems to like his equipment and have the spec'd out to his liking

If y'all do more of these you should introduce some additional requirements. For example pick a decade (90s, 80s, etc) and all clubs have to be from that time period.

Usually on long videos like this one, I’ll fast forward through some of it. But, on this occasion I watched every second of it. Watching two of my favourite golf CZcamsrs has made my day. Thanks Rick and Pete for this very entertaining video.

@@lokidecat Not a huge fan of Matt and Andrew, rather see James Robinson (the good one) and maybe someone like Grant Horvat. Mix and match however you want, but probably Rick and James would be most fair.

If you look back on the video , Rick's tee Shot on 15 didn't go in the bushes it hit something and went a hard right into the long grass .
Rick and Pete together brings out the best in both. So at ease with each other, it honestly just feels like the good old days. We need more of it, it’s just so good.

Being that they're mates you'd hope they worked out whatever deal suited them best, behind the scenes. I'm guessing having the golf bidder vid on Pete's channel means he gets sponsored by them as well as ad revenue 🤷🏻♂️ who knows. Watching these 2 fine gentlemen play a match is somewhat bittersweet. Because we seldom get to see them on the course together nowadays... I've followed Peter & Rick since the beginning of their CZcams journey. And still, to this day, they are my favorite CZcams golfers.💯 While neither of you played your best in this Golfbidder Challenge. It didn't make it any less entertaining. All the best to the both of you.👍
That drop from Rick, you could see his ball ricochet out, may have been a horrid lie in the grass but we'll never know
1:06:11 This sequence right here is why I watch Rick Shiels. Its the most hilarious thing ever. 1:06:35 is a lie we can see the ball (in HD) ricochet out of the thicket into the rough. It was not in the trees as you claim.
This is not a conspiracy. After 2nd viewing it does rebound way right. I bet he never found the ball and assumed. Shame for rick he doesn't have instant replay. But there's no "lies" being told

Great video but have to say I’m glad Pete won…considering the number of times I’ve heard you use the quote ‘rising tides rise together’ on the podcast, I’m slightly disappointed this wasn’t split between the two channels as is customary with most collaborations 🤷🏼♂️ seems like a bit of a power play to me…
and as had been done on all other golfbidders in the past. I know a month ago when Pete mentioned this happening again he thought it would be the same 9 and 9 format as before.
@@mike-mz6yz I think last year Rick had all 18 as well if I remember correctly. Whilst I appreciate Rick has a much larger number of subscribers, it just seems unfair to me that Rick receives all the spoils from a video that needs both of them to be successful.
Well, Pete's channel did have the ~20 minute video a few days ago where they were actually picking out their sets. I'm sure they agreed ahead of time, who was going to host which videos. But yeah, a bit surprised they didn't split it up, could have been front 9 on Rick's channel and back 9 on Pete's.
@@timrussell232 yeah it is weird. I assume they have a split in the ad rev of some kind, but driving traffic to Petes channel would still have an effect. Whats really weird is Rick seems more willing to help random youtubers then he is for someone he has been friends with for decades.

Top tip: Start showing all yardages in meters as well. Preferably when you say it in yards, show it in meters in the botton right corner or so. I'm guessing you have a huge fan club outside UK. (at least I'm 1 fan)

Pete wasn’t even trying, he was more interested in playing with his new toy and still won at a canter, it’s about Levels Rick and Pete is just a level above, and his mannerisms on the course are so nice to watch, the guys just chilled
Few of those club calls were dubious from Ricks, hits a 6 iron 205 (Apparently) then 2 holes later hits a 3 iron he says he absolutely nailed and it went 220, strange gapping there

I think sometimes it goes unrecognised just how good peter finch’s short game and chipping is, his chipping is unreal and those half a pitching wedge finesse shots are flighted so good
Would love to see a match using their own sticks. They're both leaving strokes out there because of the "rental" clubs.
Always enjoy the matches between Rick and Pete, would love to see more in future and bring back the four man scrambles with Matt and Andy as well. Welldone lads 🤙

Great vlog as always, love Rick / Pete golf bidder matches 👍 Don't live far from Burhill so had a look, thought £125 a round is a little excessive, nice looking course but some lovely ones in the area not charging nearlly those prices. Such a shame as these two must generate plenty of interest in the courses they play.
