Tuning a Senna is badass but I will say you may want to prepare yourself for the possibility of bending the rods and putting a hole in the engine. You have basically the same 720s motor in that car and those rods are notoriously under spec'd for the kind of power most tunes add. You may end up with the world's first built motor Senna down the road if you're not careful... Honestly it may just be best practice to go ahead and send it to Cannonball Garage to upgrade the rods now before a problem occurs and save yourself the headache of getting a new block.

Cannonball litteraly uses M-Engineering to tune their cars. M blew up Tavarish's car within a week of tuning his 675LT... put holes in the block... Jacked up Steve's Senna too... Blew up Streetspeed 717s green 720s, blew up Randy Savage Garage's grey 720s and have blown up tons of other no name peoples McLarens that you'll never hear about like this one czcams.com/video/WK1NysX0ubs/video.html . They are the main reason people like you think Mclaren motors just explode all the time. Bad tuning. Senna's should Dyno at 800+ wheel with DP and base pump fuel tune and never have an issue. You don't need a built motor with pistons and heavy rods that make the motor of this track car rev lazily. For example, Tavarish's cannonball built 4.0 pure turbo 675lt was WAY down on power after all that rebulding they did after blowing it up the first time and has set zero records for anything. The stock turbo 3.8 makes more power with a proper tune and dp... Why would Steve ruin his car going down the rabbit hole doing that?... Also, Steve's old Senna WAS taken to Cannonball Garage. That's where he had it tuned and worked on before and all his problems started in the first place. He would be crazy to take it there and tear it down all the way in perfect condition all because of a bad tuning company. He did the right thing and just took it somewhere else. Following the other sheep off a cliff is a bad idea. Shops who can't tune Macs themselves like Cannonball use M because they do it remotely so they can make money and get jobs on cars. Slap on some exhaust and mail out the ecu and make a few easy g's... Then when it blows up, the shop makes even more rebuilding it... bad news all around. Just look at how much the original bad tune has cost Tavarish... multiple tens of thousands plus massive labor and downtime of his own.... and how much Cannonball made off of him putting in the new motor plus the press... meanwhile McLaren gets a bad rep for weak rods because of inproper aftermarket calibrations. Good on Steve for unwinding some of the BS out there online
Great video guys, happy to see that thing back. I remember the night that crash happened and you all were in shock, it’s a day of redemption for sure. I think to show compassion let the kid who was involved in the wreck, drive this Senna just to ease his mind and heal your heart completely.

Ya'll should have had FMU do the exhaust on the G wagon. They installed my FE Exhaust and it sounded amazing especially with de-cat. They also did a flamethrower tune on my McLaren 720S. I would love to compare the sounds with the Senna.

Like I said he is smart with his money not DDE. DDE thinks that they can buy anything but at the end they fail because modification to the extreme is not always the best way especially if you think that your made out of money and that's definitely not the case for DDE why do you think they relie on merchandise and sponsors for this matter.

@PascalCrypto I've been watching for a very long time even when they started their CZcams channel buddy. You can see how he presents himself and how he manages his business and finances. When it comes to money you just don't go out there and say that your going to do this or buy this car or anything else for you to believe it will happen because at the end of the day I respect Damon for the hard work he has done but not the way that he thinks he is made out of money when we all know that he no multi millionaire here.

From my personal experience with McLarens and other CZcamsrs experience, Steve please make sure you do rods, pistons, and internals when tuning McLarens. They seem to be extremely weak under any modifications.

You should be fine they did my mclarens and his 765 is tuned by them too. Not sure why they had an issue with his senna they have done a couple sennas in our region and those seem to be running well.
were the exhaust tips installed on the correct sides? Seems like the angles are backwards. Ferry is a great road to fly down. Watch out for the WPD and NPD.

The Senna was a car I really didn't like when it came out, I thought the proportions were off, the wing was exaggerated and that they cheaped out and basically rebodied one of their normal 8cyl cars without even a hybrid system like the P1. I was wrong though, the aesthetics of it grew immensely on me over time, to the point I think it's iconic now, the lightness of it and the breaking performance especially showed me how serious a car it is and why the mechanical options on it are what they are. Add to that it's rareness and it seriously should be in any top car collection. I believe these will only hold and increase in value. And they even look nice when on fire.
