Awesome stuff! What is the ideal hardware requirements to work on this type of project?
I want to be in VR as the center point of a swarm of drones
The drones flying all over the environment, small groups splitting off, joining back
I give vague hand gestures, controlling where they should go
Project the individual drone's vision onto a roughly convex hull around me. Then my camera is seeing the underside of that convex hull. Essentially my vision is a summary of the entire swarm, constantly shifting based on their distance from me (the center position of the flock)
So my camera can't directly see the environment, only the hull that the swarm draws to. There will likely be gaps and hi res spots
Maybe I'll make that some day, for the small percent that could stomach it :)
How is the intro graphic made?
Does the asset include stuff like non Euclidean portal camera setup things?
Can you do first person camera with cinemachine?
Yes. When you use the Package Manager in the Unity Editor to download the Cinemachine plugin into your project you can import their sample pack of scenes demonstrating the many types of camera use cases. It's amazing!
the example scenes are not there anymore?
Open package manager, download cinemachine but stay on the package manager page, you should see it under samples, click the "Import into Project" button
