Tammy, don’t you have family and friends that can clean and cook for you? You need help. Your kids should pitch in too.
Please let others help you, please. I know how hard it is to ask for help and accept help but please allow this.

Hey Tammy! Many thanks from the person who asked about the song at the beginning of your posts! Looked it up and it’s actually pretty cool throughout; m.czcams.com/video/bBwCOcGJyq0/video.html
I’m glad to see that you are getting some rest and that hospice is keeping an eye on you- I’m with ya’ on being one of those people who just can’t help themselves and insist on being independent and do too much.. Please try to utilize all the help you can get so you can focus on doing the most important thing; spending time with your kids.
My mom, who was diagnosed with- and passed away from lung cancer last Christmas, didn’t have a “bucket list” of things she wanted to do before leaving this earth. All she wanted and was trying to have was ‘normalcy’.. I get it. It’s hard when you can’t do all of the things you’re used to being able to do and accepting that your body is crumbling.
Mom insisted on cooking and doing the dishes until she could no longer stand on her own. When her legs no longer aided her, she did what she could from a wheelchair.. She so enjoyed being able to feed her family and when she no longer could, the light in her eyes dimmed significantly. Normalcy is more valuable than anything on any bucket list.
Spend time with your kids and enjoy yourself, Tammy. You, and they, deserve it!
    Lots of hugs from Florida❣️

Not a good time to need hospice. I'm a hospice volunteer and we are not aloud to be with our patients. Hopefully the nurses can help you with as much as they can. My prayers for you to be comfortable n at peace💙

Yesterday I called the office to see if they were indeed coming out to see me this week. They said yes, they do still come out. However, last week when both my LPN and my CNA came out. but they didn't get closer than 6 feet of me. And the LPN did not take my blood pressure. They both also used hand sanitizer as soon at the were about to leave. And just a few minutes ago, I got a call from my RN case manager, who I haven't met yet. And as soon as I told her that I would be available today for her to come out for a visit. She then asked me if I had been sick recently, or have a fever, cough, or any shortness of breath. I wonder if she would have postponed to a later date if I had said yes.
