Where Was I? A Quick Update.And An Apology.

I am so sorry for not getting back to you for quite some time. As many of you know, I had been trying to fight my terminal cancer with a chemo that I have tried before, and it didn"t work. But now I am trying ones that are basically a different combination of some of those chemo's I have tried, that failed. Unfortunately, the chances of them working, are next to nothing. But after 10 yrs of a fight, and almost 15-17 different chemo's/immunotherapies that either didn't work at all, stopped working after a month or so, or the side effects were too much for my body to handle. But I was still not ready to give up. And about 3 months ago, I had a discussion with my team about getting put on hospice. Knowing I had 3 young kids, and was in no way, ready to end my fight. So I decided to continue Palliative Care, and try the few chemo's left. These few Chemo's that I have tried, and failed, were different combinations of the same type of chemo. These usually don't have as high of a chance of working well. And usually have more side effects. But I am willing to give them a try. Unfortunately, after trying one of these chemo's in 2 different formats, when it came to the dosage, and timing, my body kept getting sick, and ended up having to fight 2 very bad infections, and still grew many new tumors. I ended up getting a tumor that turned into what I called my gaping hole. This hole was full of cancer, and grew so big, that it opened up to my left breast implant. This ended up causing 3 major infections that landed me sick and on complete bed rest, unable to do chemo, and eventually feared my son so much, that he called 911. Thank God.
This video tells that story, and the story of my hospital stay, surgery, lympadema, my being released home, to a very scary decision of getting put on Hospice Care. And how I am coping on it.
Please pray for peace and help with many of the other decisions, and normal everyday life things, that I, a single mother, have to deal with. I am in lots of pain everyday. I feel very drained and tired, and emotional. I am not ready to die, so please, most of all, pray my infection, and surgery heal quickly. And that I can get and maintain proper nutrition and health to continue to go back onto chemo, and prolong my life. And in the mean time, pray I am able to find ways to spend this extra time that God has given to me, to make memories with my family and friends, and draw closer to Him. I love them so much, and I want no more than to spend the rest of my life with them. But I can't, when I am too sick, and tired to do anything. Or my gaping hole infection smells too bad to get up the nerve to go out around people. Trust me, the smell from the wound is so embarrassing!

Back in 2010 I had been diagnosed with stage 3b ER/PR positive, HER2 neg Breast cancer in my left breast. I had Chemo, Bilat Mastectomy, with expanders then implants place, Radiation therapy, and hormonal therapy plus Bilat, oopherectomy. After 2 1/2 yrs of treatment, I went 5 yrs with no KNOWN, sign of Cancer.
However, in 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare terminal melanoma. with no skin involvement. After chemo failed, a combo immunotherapy treatment every other week, kept me stable till this April 2018. I discovered a new chest wall tumor, plus a few other tumors.They said that my Breast Cancer had mutated, and returned as Metastatic (terminal) TN Breast cancer. Although my doctor insists that it is a totally different Breast Cancer from the first. Oral chemo failed. And I did Radiation for pain. My last Radiation was on Monday 11/19/18.
I just stopped Halavan (chemo) Infusion, first because my blood levels wouldn't go back up in a timely manor. So we tried another time and dose. But I got the first of my 3 bad infections, that started this episode, that landed me in the hospital.
This channel is all about the life of me and my 3 children. With our Lord leading the way, we support each other, as we fight our battles and celebrate the our victory, in a difficult world where me, a single mother who is in active treatment for not only 1, but 2 terminal cancers. I make videos about my cancer journey,personal trials, and some fun videos, and videos with my kids. Something to do to take my mind off of the cancer.

I am so glad you updated us! I've been checking back daily. Prayers continuing and will pray specifically as you asked. Ask if you could get a lymphedema press for tour arm. It really helps relieve some of the edema and pain!

Please don’t apologize Tammy, any updates from you are greatly appreciated and I’m sure never taken for granted by anybody who is following you. It shouldn’t feel like a chore to you, I’m sure you have enough on your plate already.
Also, hospice is a blessing not a curse and yes, you are able to come off it if and when you are “too healthy” to be on it. I think that the limit on how many times you can “hop on/ hop off” hospice varies by state.
Either way- I sure hope you start feeling better soon and can get back on chemo. Getting over those nasty infections should get you back up and running so I hope that hospice will help you get there quickly.

Oh my Lord. Thank you for the update. I was so so worried about you. I'm so very sorry you're going through all of that. I cannot even imagine... As a hospice nurse, I can tell you that you will get excellent care from hospice. At least for the company I work for is so great. I will pray for you and hope you fight this infection and heal so you can move on with treatment. Try "cleaning for a reason", they can give you 2 free house cleaning. I utilized them one time when fatigue was really bad. Look them up, you might have them in your area. And yes, the hospice aide will help you to tide up your house. I truly wish the best for you and your beautiful children.

Do you have mutations that cause your cancers (both Melanoma and TNBC, separate from your other Breast Cancer) because that's a lot of cancer to deal with, makes me think there's a mutation causing these, is there?

I'm so glad they got that implant and infected tissue out but I'm sad they still left an open hole. I agree people go on and off hospice all the time so it's smart of you to get all the help you can. I'm so proud of Christian for taking such good care of you , you raised him well. I will pray for all the things you asked and I believe you will heal and get back to chemo. Just tidy the house deep cleaning isn't necessary right now. Just lower your standards some. Killing yourself through overexertion is a stupid reason to prematurely leave your kids. I genuinely love you Tammy even though we've never met. You're such a special lady. God surely counts you as one of his most special creations
Hospice is a very good place to be for healing and pain management, it gives you the time and rest to improve your healing. Stick with your goals sweet lady. Sending you all the very best wishes.
