  • Volunteers with an Oregon nonprofit bring in Native American spiritual practices and communities of support inside prison walls. Their goal: to give hope to incarcerated Native Americans and reduce recidivism. Presiding tribal elders of the Umatilla and Warm Springs granted OPB special permission to document Native American religious services inside and outside prison settings throughout 2019. #NativeAmerican #Indigenous

Please help save Native American history, it’s right here in our backyard and preserved in Rich red Clay in North Carolina but they refuse to acknowledge it. If you care about this stuff please email your state archaeology departments and even the government archaeology departments to preserve the site in alamance county, NC. These people were not only the Native Americans ancestors, they were all of our ancestors. The Cherokee said they were people there before them. These are those people, these are those lifestyles in which we invented democracy upon. We learned this from the Native Americans. This is not history that is to be erased because of American pride. This is valuable. This is exactly what we need in this day and age.

As a veteran of this country I urge you to speak your mind because that is what we fought for. That is the premise for all that we are is to be able to speak what we believe. Seeing is believing. Let us not ignore our history

❤️ Thank you for sharing this. I live in Umatilla county, I always love learning about the native culture. I hope we can soon be able to resume services for these people.

I can hear the tone of a broken hearted frequencies within their voices, injustice has been done to the Great Spirits chosen people. Their redemption is closer than what this place thinks.....
