I drink green tea without sugar and eat extra black chocolate (I actually do) and it's fine. Chocolate is still full of sugar so it being extra black balances it out (white chocolate melts me mouth) and tea without sugar is fine honestly.
I saw in one video that you can fit up to 16 table spoons of sugar into tea to the point when it stops dissolving.
I drink iced tea with about 2 teaspoons of generic Stevia per liter. Just enough to accent the flavor.

Game dev here, the business reason for the NIntendo thing is servers.
Nintendo basically keep a very small number of servers on-site and that's why they kill their old systems online capabilities soon after the new ones come online and they need more space.
The alternative is expanding to more servers, which they haven't been able to afford to do for a while because the Wii U put them in the red financially and the Switch basically saved them from bankruptcy (allegedly, the details aren't fully known but this was to be their last confirmed attempt at a physical console before moving to a competitors system if it failed).
Said alternative is partially why other game companies do things that seem tacky like Day 1 DLC, pre-order content, and microtransactions; it costs way a shit ton of money to keep a server running.
Note I am not privy to all the facts behind their decision or the decisions of other companies. But going off projects I've worked on, the more the servers can pay for themselves the better. Otherwise they'll be shut down ASAP.
This is just tangential, but it's interesting that the price of a AAA title has been $60 for like 30 years now. I wonder how this relates to the current state of video games (ie microtransactions, shitty titles, other behavior hostile to consumers)
