    I use a soap bottle dispenser. Redline is good stuff.

    We used to use a hose with a plastic coupler (big enough for the power steering line) and drain it down into a pan, used a cut 2liter soda bottle to catch what was in the reservoir

    Hey how you been. I had a squeaking when I turned the wheel left or right. It was coming from the ACTUAL steering wheel area. Just did this today by myself saving $300 however I did not lift the car. I bought a 1 gallon of Prestone Power Steering Fluid, a turkey baster, a empty container and a funnel. Sucked out the old stuff with the turkey baster, Put in the new stuff, Turned the car on and turned the wheel right to left and back 10 times then shut it off. I repeated this process 10 times and got rid of the squeak completely, the fluid is much much lighter and the wheel is a hell of a lot easier to turn.

      @@AnthonyJ350 What is your opinion on Prestone Power Steering fluid for the 350z?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Před 17 dny

      @@DragoMusivini I'm sure it's adequate. I've personally had the best performance with Redline when I was having issues in my Silverado. That's why we use Redline for long term fluids.

      @@AnthonyJ350 Well U am definitely not going to wait 50k miles like on the bottle lol. I'll do it again at 120k. I am less than 200 miles from 100k.

    I thought the recommended fluid was ATF? Could be wrong though

      They're similar. Transmission fluid has more cleaning additives. Nissan does make power steering fluid.
