A note on the company name. Lewis Glaser founded Revell . The toy line was marketed later under the brand name Revell. Reportedly, the name Revell came from the French word reveille meaning "new beginning". The company name is pronounced "rev-ELL", as opposed to the totally unrelated family name, pronounced "REV-ell". Our family name did come over from France, from a forebear who was one of William The Conqueror's knights, later becoming a Sheriff in an English county. Two brothers Revell later came to America, settling in North Florida.
I wish I had a familial connection to the company, but alas, no. 😊

I'm looking forward to watching this one in particular! I've struggled getting paint to adhere to this kit in an attempt to build a replica of my actual Viper ACR. I can't seem to get the color to adhere to the primer as during follow up color coats I've had flakes come off the initial color coat.

Why .03 mm needle?, wouldn't .05 cover more quicker? BTW, can a glass finish be accomplished with Tamiya X paints??
