glow plug are no good get new ones not enough heat in the cylinders to keep the engine running the diesel is probably very cold to so this saps the heat from the cylinders and the plugs as it is injected into them, try heating the glow plugs two or three times before starting the engine it works usually.ignition on ignition off three times before starting.
Il motore non c'entra, con temperatura molto bassa devi usare l'apposito gasolio perché altrimenti ghiaccia nelle tubazioni tra pompa ed iniettori, dove lo spessore è molto sottile e risente di più del freddo. A me è successo sulla Ypsilon ed ho risolto il problema aggiungendo 2-3 litri di benzina assieme a 35-40 litri di gasolio. Non bisogna esagerare ed appena passa il gelo tornare ad usare subito soltanto gasolio.
Gloeipluggen al eens vervangen? Die wagen moet ook bij -15C nog in 1 keer starten. De XM is een te mooie wagen om zonder onderhoud tot aan de sloop te rijden, wees er zuinig op dus:)
nog nieveel km's een 2100 kan tot 600.000 km (op8j) en een 2500 kan tot 821.000 op 7j maaar is dan wel gans kapot :d Mijn pa is nu aan zijne 3de Xm bezig nu trg een 2100 heeft al over de 300.000 nu binne 2j ofzo op 500.000 en dan de motor open enzo en kan der weer tege :d
La XM a un problème de préchauffage, appuyez sur l’embrayage pour libérer la boîte de vitesse.

dont know!! above 5 degrees C is always starts perfectly the first time. below 0 its terrible
remember it take 20 minutes of engine running to put back what starting takes out of your battery you have just used 60 minutes worth.
