feels strange watching this again after the news of his divorce. watching this I thought he was joking and embellishing his husband's drinking, but apparently he wasn't and this was probably his way of coping with it I guess. Nevertheless, I do feel bad for his situation, but he is one funny man.

Yes indeed. And his husband was jailed last year for a DUI. He actually backed up into a police car. Must have been heart wrenching for Alan.
So true his comments about old school photos. As a kid you never realised your parents had distributed them until you visited relatives and saw it displayed somewhere.
If you didn’t like the photo it was so humiliating.

It was so true . For many kids those school photos were the only photos ever taken of you . I grew up in Jamaica in the 70’s and the only photos we have of my brothers and me in that decade were those frozen frightened smiles taken in that one shot annual school photo. And yes later when we visited relatives - every old aunt or distant cousin had those in the family album. 😂
He’s a one and only. Such is his talent you can’t help but feel he’s you’re camp mate who you’d love to hang around. He draws the audience in.

OMG the frozen mitten string nearly drowned me, I was taking a drink of my Pepsi and it went up my nose and down my lungs all at the same time . My shirt and pants are soaked and my sinuses are popping sofa bubbles. 😳
I found some of my old school photos yesterday. The horror. It was the eighties though, which explains a lot.
Mine were all great. Nieces accused me of lying they were of me, shite as I look now. The tw*ts.
My mother would not buy them because I was always ugly in photos ..

In the US as a kid but I never took my school photos proofs home, so no one could buy them 😂
yup. We could never afford them so I was safe.
My mum could never afford to buy them, so the proof photos were kept as if she did buy them, which meant I always had to wear awful clothes with 1970’s hairstyle. Taken very seriously in my household. Until high school when I just blagged the teachers into thinking my friends were actually relatives of mine.
His stand-up is so bad but he is so funny on his show. I think he really shines when he improvs Snappy jokes. In a conversation. Because in stand up it feels like there's no punch
