My cousins are ENTP and INTP, and I'm ENFP. When we were young and we'd visit our grandparent's, we'd all sleep in the same room with bunk beds. At least one night out of the visit, the ENTP would blurt out a cool new idea. Then the INTP would raise, and I'd call. We'd keep cooking up cool new ideas until my ESTJ uncle would cross the hall and order us to stop laughing and go to sleep. He'd never win, the three of us would keep going until the sun rose, and my ISFJ sister started sleeping in an entryway we crammed a bed into.
The bunk beds are broken now, but we build a bonfire on the lake and drink alcohol instead. If you give my uncle enough vodka, he starts having fun, too.
That sounds amazing! I love keeping going with cool new ideas! My dad is also an enfp and on New Years eve we did keep going till like the early hours of the morning. My ISTJ mum and ESTP sister went to bed hours before đ

As an INTJ, the ENTPâs impression isnât too far off. I remember when I was a child (maybe 11 or so) I was at some sort of gathering with a friend and his family. The friend had a pretty intense interest in science, and came across as at least somewhat intelligent. So somehow, in a conversation in which it was relavent, I told him âIâm sure by the time youâre 18, youâll be at least a mediocre scientistâ. I was frankly surprised to see him react negatively to what I said, and my mother made me apologize to him. I didnât think I had said anything wrong, my statement implied he would âat leastâ be mediocre, and in my mind at the time, I saw a scientist as something prestigious and difficult to achieve, thus to even be a mediocre scientist at 18 would be an impressive feat in my mind.

i'm laughing so hard at this. as an ENFP, it's good to know this is just a way of you guys to compliment people. tbh i think i could understand it as a compliment even if you didn't explain it because i think i have a reasonable amount of Te, so i get where some INTJs are coming from most of the time.
I have a similar issue. I can see that a response like the one you gave can be *perceived* as bad, but I don't think it should be *considered* bad, it doesn't make ANY SENSE for it to be considered as bad

Personally, I think I'm an ENFP with pretty developed Te (done things I hate because I know it's what made sense for my career for many years) so I appreciate INFPs and ISFPs so much because they remind me that I need to fill up my Fi at some point otherwise I will explode. The INFP one is literally what happened when my ENTP sister tried to convince me that Powerpuff Girls was anti feminist propaganda and I was a terrible person for watching it. I have few things I can enjoy anymore without feeling I have to defend my choices and I was not willing to lose this one without a fight.

I made a comment a second ago about the exact same thing. My sister in law is an ESFJ and I love her, she's very sweet and supportive, but idk what else to say. She talks about people that idk constantly and doesn't provide any insight into a situation. It honestly baffles me, wth does she think about when she's on her own? You'd think they'd be down for some interesting conversations with tert Ne but they must only use it for practicality. I have to work so hard to keep a conversation going and I don't think I've ever said that in my life

I'm an esfj and I love talking with my entp friend about weird ideas, scifi, religious concepts, etc. I love I can go weird places with him and understands my sometimes odd examples. I dated an infj briefly who loved dinosaurs and I had a lot of fun listen to him geek out about it for 3 hours straight.
Kristin does a diservice to esfjs in my opinion...she always portrays them as dumb, clueless, and unaware when our Fe makes us very aware of other's feelings and group dynamics. It's gotten old.

So far what weâve been seeing is what some other typesâ biases make them tend to think and itâs not necessarily the truth. Even though I have a hard time relating to ESFJ interests, there is a REALLY sweet one at work who is the best. â€ïž -INFP
@@cheeryblossoms2011 I have an ESFJ friend that has a lot of good qualities, like being aware of peoples feeling, caring practically about people and also feels the group dynamics. She also has a depth and can talk about deep things.

The background effects are sooooooo accurate for ENTP, this is what the inside of our minds feels like! And every single one was so accurate XDD. Down to the ISFJ, i really forgot we were missing someone XD. "I exist". Yeppp..... ENFP being the only type too abstract for us is so accurate too hehe. and INFPs liking us until we dont share values and they get so offended, so accurate! ESTPxENTP is the ult mischief duo! Me and my ESTP friend have the worst convos in public n i think this is part of the fun, people turning heads XD. ISTP dipping so fast, lolll so true. Zoning out during social talk of ESFJ... been there so many times XD. And ESFP taking my "just kidding" requests seriously XD. Aw, that is the charm point of ESFPs! INFJ is so real, discussions with them are so rewarding, so free! Just vibing with ISFPs also super neat. And INTPs being intellectually superior, i must admit this is true too, their depth of research is humbling! Messing with INTJ and ENTJ for fun aw yes, exactly XD. Most people look at this with horror, how come I am poking a hornet's nest but oh well, I don't mind losing, I like a formidable opponent. Also INTJ is entertaining to tease. I don't have experience with ESTJs bc i think that just like in ur video, they avoid me before i even notice them hahaah. And that ENFJ, damn these scare me XD. They can read me like an open book and let it be known, unlike an INFJ that does so quietly. These are so wonderful! I rly love the effects, so accurate! The INTP one is so cool!

So, I showed this to my ENTP, who knows almost nothing about MBTI. He laughed through the whole thing, then commented that he's not used to being called out like this. One of us! One of us!
1. As an ENFP I'm amazed that everyone thinks we are THAT weird , I would catalog myself as pretty okay, just a tat childish, but not so random.
2. The longest book title has 3,777 words (as of 2021), not 1,809 words (this one was from 2019).
3. Pretty cool effects, made me giggle.
I'm an ENTP and my daughter is an ENFP and I've got say I found it pretty accurate. ENFP's are the only type that can outdo my stamina for discussion; and believe me I do have a lot of stamina for discussion! I don't think ENFP's are weird, you're awesome in fact. Your capacity for talking about such a diverse range of topics is phenomenal! Interjected with randomness and humour like no other. I love ENFP's but sometimes I just can't keep up!

No they don't act like babies but if the truth is really true... and it hurts... they'll come to you 3 months later all battered up by it. Then you have to fix them a little. It doesn't take much but their unconscious Fi takes a while to process they've been hurt, unlike others.... but yeah it's easy to put them back together, at least for intj.

As an ISFP with an ENTP husband these are so accurate! Except Iâd have to take issue with the ISFJ one.. my mother is an ISFJ and my ENTP is forever in awe of her superhuman organizational abilities and efficiency lol and trust me weâve benefited immensely from her selfless care and generosity over the years so heâs incredibly grateful!
And surprisingly, after 8 years of knowing her, she still manages to shock him occasionally with some new way in which she somehow outdoes her previous record for awesomeness!
Also, he actually really values her opinions and insights, cuz as we all now know, sensors are NOT DUMB! He always goes out of his way to try to provoke a reaction from her in order to get her perspective and opinion on random things lol itâs like a game for him and sheâs a tough cookie đ
ISFP ENTP is underrated combo. My ex was ISFP, an alien life form to me in many ways (Sensors generally are but Fi-dom too! ) and it worked surprisingly well!!
@un chien andalou lol thatâs literally how I always describe what it was like when we first met!! I was totally an alien to him đ our minds just work so differently but itâs amazing how much weâve learned from each other, to exercise those foreign brain functions, and I feel like itâs given me a much richer perspective in general. And I believe itâs the same for him.
The biggest divide between us is definitely the Se vs Ne which is like universes apart, much more than the Fi vs Fe, although personally, I think I gained from him much more on the Fe end of things and Iâm forever grateful to have been able to grow so much in that area by learning from the best! (ENTP Fe is seriously underrated!)
@@ldoe8731 hmm I havenât had that kind of experience at all with the (quite a few) ISFJs I know actually.. I find them to be really down to earth with a surprisingly good sense of humor generally! I can see how an extremely unhealthy ISFJ might be difficult to deal with I guess, but Iâd never even think of narcissistic as an option for them

I am an ENTP and have an ESFJ mom and that was way too accurate. She is like, let me tell you an painfully mundane anecdote in incredible detail for no reason at all.
I love my mom, and her Ne is really fun, we get along really really well because of Fe and Ne... but when she goes on those pure Si stories, which happens way more often than it should, I have to log off. Specially since sometimes she tells me stories she has told me millions of times already.
Also, she is a good sport when I troll her and she even began trolling me as well.... well at least she tries to.

I think sometimes people just like hearing themselves talk. Probably some kind of subconscious negative feeling at life for being so boring, so we make people sit through our boring day with us. Plus, xxFx types like to put on a friendly face, so she's probably just smiling but in reality she's actually trying to just complain. Im an infj though so apparently im good at psycho analyzing people. Since you're entp I probably shouldn't be telling you all this. On the bright side, putting a happy face on, it does work in reverse, and brighten our mood. So she probably really is also just happily rambling
My mom does that. At some point I have to just say, "mama, I love you but get to the point. Is there a point??" Thankfully she's used to my abrupt ways.

Mine does a thing where she immediately agrees if I blast her with an idea or thought but slowly backtracks and fails to deliver what she agreed to. And her Fe wonât let her tell me â no I think your idea wasnât persuasive enoughâ so she leads me on and fails to deliver on anything that isnât a normal âsocietally acceptedâ thing to do. so yeah donât trust them⊠I gotta teach myself not to feel high/ understood when she seems super psyched about an idea as I am in the beginning.
Orrr she will suddenly get on board with a diet plan or something I got really into a few months back⊠because she saw a video from a âcredibleâ source or her friend gave her a shitty pitch thatâs not well thought out
The esfj one was painfully relatable. Sometimes when a conversation isnât doing it for me I just start imagining things and thinking about something else. I have sometimes laughed at seemingly random times in conversations Iâve forgot to listen to because something I thought about was funny to me. I always feel really bad for doing it afterwards and I hope that no one has noticed lmao

Haha Iâm an ISFP and I have an ENTP neighbor and he comes over to talk to me sometimes and it seems just like that. I just give off to people âtell me anything Iâm listeningâ vibes to other people because that happens to me all the time. It my own fault, Iâm not much of a talker to people Iâm not close to, but Iâm always willing to listen to anybody that just needs to vent and get things off there chest. I may not have good the best advice to give you like some other types, but you be surprised how many people have thank me just for listening to them.

Love the feeling of maintaining a casual conversation with an ENTP without having to debate them, when suddenly they go for that THING, the random thing that is part of me and my history, part of who I am, a core tenet of my being, and for once in my life my fear of conflict is surpassed by my need to defend the THING. Cut to 5 minutes later when I'm in tears and no longer get to enjoy thinking wistfully about the now-shattered thing anymore.
Still love ENTPs though. Had many a laugh with them.

I know it's not logical to be like this. I'm often embarrassed about it, and I've tried very hard to change. But that's just the way it is for us. We can try to suppress it, but we're never going to be as detached as you.
Trolling is also not a great idea with us, since we usually take what people say at face value. You'll just make us feel dumb and sad.

Some "values" are total lunacy. You trolling because you can't believe someone could seriously believe in something like that and after seeing all irrationality will stop.
But then you see person believe it for real.
If this person really sucks (happens rarely, but still), you destroy their world view to see them crumble for your and others entertainment or don't say a thing and watch their own views destroy their life.
But if it's a good person... If it something small we could leave it, if person don't try to put anyone else into cult and bring it as an argument for other things. But most of the time you feel like you have to save a person from bad decisions that will be made believing in thing that doesn't make sense or simply harmful telling all truth. But get hate for it.

Sometimes we spot them. They just seem ridiculous and worth fighting against at the moment because we know you ll defend them until we get tired or get convinced.
Yess!! As an INFP with an ENTP dad, our conversations can be amazing until he decides to poke fun / ignore / trample over one of my core values (most of the time just bc he finds my reactions funny, not bc we don't share the value to some degree). I've learned to keep my cool more and let him talk but it's not always easy xD

I have an ex who is an ENTP, and I must say, the reactions of both the ESTP and ISTP are accurate here (I'm an ISTP)
This is likely due to how willing I was to dip into Se and Fe, as I find these are the ways in which I collect others' experiences and feelings to use in later interactions. This energy is quickly drained tho, so a sudden exit strategy was always in place ;)

The ISFJ đ my mom is an ISFJ & I forget to call her back ALL the time⊠& also struggle to stay focused when sheâs talking. So basically Iâm the worst daughter ever but not on purpose, I swear! I try to make up for it by sitting through her never-ending stories about people at work, complete with responsive facial expressions & everything.
The INFP bit was done really well. Thankfully my ENTP partner and I get each other on the important stuff, though he does still enjoy tormenting me by putting the toilet paper the wrong way round.

Aww nice I'm also INFP and my Partner is ENTP. We have a child together, thankfully we work together because we are a great team. We have great ideas together. I also love how big our Imagination is so we can have derp meaningful conversations. He still loves to annoy the hell out of me when I'm busy with digital drawing or other stuff only because he wants my attentions and he wants to trigger me. Some days ago he just lightly hit me on the head while I was drawing....even thought he knows that I need my full concentration. Our conversations are full of Insider and we come of with ne inslusts for eachother, it's simply hilarious.

[shrug] It's fair.
They exist, when they have to; if its an idea or some kind of random discussion about a subject we want to debate, feelings dont get involved, its never personal, just ideas and theories.

I'm INFP and my boyfriend is ENTP. From everything I learned about ENTPs so far is that they really want to be loved for who they really are without someone talking down their ideas or dreams. No other man could love me as much as he does. He always talks good about me, even behind my back. The loss of a loved one or missing love in thier life is always the reason why a ENTP's turn into evil assholes who enjoy other peoples suffering. Because when truelly love, they love very intense, there is nothing else in the world they are more sure about than their own feelings. That's why they end up in the friendzone very oftten as teenagers. Since I'm INFP he opened up to me emotionally, I'm the person he can cry infront. I teached him that it's ok to cry. God I love this man so much, he makes me laugh even when I don't want to.
Fictional ENTPs are some of my (INFJ) favorite people, but real ones can go either way--I either love them for their chaotic and unbridled creativity or hate them for constantly needing to be right and argumentative. Middle ground is....very rare. I loved that the INFJ was like "You know I'm psychoanalyzing you, but you don't care, which makes this perfect." Just. Nailed it XD

As an ENFP man that went on a bizaar and wonderful adventure with an ENTP man across the country, danced in skirts through the streets of Las Vegas, made random 'artifacts' to leave in the woods for hikers to find, and so much more, I can say this is 100% accurate. Absolutely never felt more like a psychedelic trip while not on psychs than that two week period.
Update: a year later we met in Vienna. I learned German to a weak conversational level. We did actual psychedelics together and went through the metametaverse together! It was magical!

One thing I found out is that we prefer Ti, but our Fe is still strong enough when we need it. It's when we don't remember to use Fe that we could offend someone by simply stating what we see as truth. Si can be a challenge for us. I see it as a benefit to have some S doms in my life to help compensate...
