Because they had an iron-clad prenup agreement, which would have given him only $60,000, I believe he convinced Sherri to have a surrogate child so that in the event of a divorce. he would be able to collect child support (ala Kevin Federline). I have so much respect for Sherri, she clawed her way up from the dark abyss of all of this darkness, working hard, and now she has her own very successful show. As women, we have to be better at vetting our husbands and children's fathers.
I believe he did too. It sucks when an innocent child has the misfortune of having, not one, but TWO selfish, deadbeat parents. One who thinks of you as a check, the other thinks of you as a burden. How sad.

The child i pray does not feel rejected when finding out the story. Sherri is a woman of faith who grew up in the church. As a result, this affects her decisions. Unfortunately, she chose 2 men who didn’t share her values. What is sad is Lamar’s audacity to marry Sherri with intentions of raising his son without her and wanting her to be a mother on legal documents and for financial gain only. He wanted full legal custody with Sherry only having visitation rights of his son (of Lamar’s and a donor’s eggs). He and his son are being financially supported by Sherri, and for that he should be grateful and stop using Sherri for her money and celebrity.

I don't have any strong opposition to surrogacy, however, a lot of the stories I've heard about it end up being a total mess in the end, especially legally 😕
The only successful surrogacy story I heard in the celebrity world is Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade when they had Kavvia James Union Wade. And they barely made it with Dwayne Wade's cheating a**.

Sherri and he live in 2 different states, so how often would Sherri see the child?
