This was definitely my favorite book in the series 5/5 stars
The ONLY thing I didn’t like was
(SPOILER) how a bunch of characters lost their powers throughout the series, and the whole thing with Max giving everyone their powers back took the emotional impact out of it.

i didn’t even realize that magpie was nova’s sister i was so caught up in all the action of that chapter, but now that i’ve read comments i had one of those oh moments

I cried like, so many times reading supernova. When Adrian learned he created phobia, when he gave up his powers to defeat Phobia, when Max was absorbing everyone’s powers and everyone started realizing, and then again when we realize Magpie is Novas sister. That last one was more of a mad cry tbh. Still not over that.
the ending was amazing!
So many twists and turns with this book, It kept me on the edge of my seat! Did not see that epilogue coming at all! Definitely a 5/5 series.

I didn’t even realize Magpie was Nova’s sister. It just didn’t click! But now it’s so plainly obvious I don’t know how I didn’t see it before! Evie was shot when she was a baby. She supposedly died. Nova was taken by Ace, and Magpie knew she disappeared, and always thought she would come back to the orphanage to get her, but she never did, because Nova thought she was dead! Omg the shock that my body just went though literally sent chills down my spine. That was by far the bigger shock through out the whole book for me. I really hope there is some sort of follow up series or book where they figure out their relation to each other!!

I'm still not over the epilogue! 🤯 I really enjoyed Supernova and gave it 4 stars. This book just stopped my heart. I hope Marissa Meyer continues the series.

HOLY SH*T I didnt expect Magpie to be Evie! I really hope theres a sequel series/novel that has them discover this. I really dont want it to just end without them discovering theyve both been alive all this time

I suspected the Magpie thing since book one. Something about their interaction had an ‘annoying younger sibling’ thing in my eyes. And then when they said that she was an orphan I was like, “Yep.”🤣
I liked the last chapter, but I have to say, I don’t know how she (Magpie) doesn’t realize that they’re sisters...it’s not like she was found on someone’s doorsteps or abandoned at a hospital or something...she was found in her crib in the apartment her parents were also found dead in...she should know her parents and sister’s names. That was my only qualm about the whole thing.
I agree that Archenemies is the weakest of the three. I was actually really bummed when I first read it last year because it WAS supposed to be a duology and I hadn’t heard that she’d expanded it before going into the book.
But I re-read the first two books and, while I still think it’s the weakest, I actually enjoyed my re-read.
Adrian creating Phobia and the fact that his mom was killed protecting Nova’s family? Did not see that coming at all! And when Nova realized that the Anarchists really WERE protecting her family? Chills.

I was surprised about Adrian and Phobia as well! My initial theory was that Phobia was Adrian’s biological father ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I remember she said that her memories were affected and she just knows the value of things, she cant see the history of things. Sorry i just finished reading it for the first time.

I’ve read so many reviews for this book and it seems like I’m the only one that suspected what was revealed in the epilogue. I had my suspicions in book 1. I’m surprised the reveal caught everyone by surprised!

the scene where Nova wrestles her bracelet back from Magpie and Magpie mentions that the bullet is what supplied her with powers was all the confirmation I needed for my theory ;)
yahhh same. i suspected it from the very beginning, i just knew that evie was alive. i just that they could come to terms with each other. and i rly wished that maggie knew her name was actually evie, that kills meee
