Love your video!! Did my big chop yesterday! Love it. Love going to the barbershop. Ladies do not listen to the snickers or pay attention to the stares from ladies who see you and dont get it. When I stood up out of the barbers chair and the guys in the shop started telling me how much they liked it and how it fit my face I said "yes"! Then the wind hit my scalp in the car and it felt so good! Be confident with the texture of hair that God gave you ladies. No more perms for this girl!

No more perms for me either went natural for 7 months ..and messed my hair up with a raggedy perm..the creamy crack was calling I must say its evil ..now I'm back again bald and never will put a perm in again

+kim gonzales True! Unless you've seen the stylists work, right? They could potentially be just as qualified. But my first hunch would always be to go to a barbershop for a cut like this versus a salon, so I get you haha
It's true, I did the same and went to the barber. He used 6 tools to get the same cut as her: trimmer, cutter, 2 type of scissors, shaving blade to clean up and shape ( contour )

I have gone to two different barbers on different occasions and because my hair is of a finer texture and I have a thin area at the nape, no one wants to attempt to cut my hair like this 😢. Looking at your cut, I think it’s obtainable and our texture is similar. I will keep looking for that special barber!

A shear cut gives a softer cut and is less harsh on the hair. I'm also wearing a similar cut.

I prefer a scissor cut versus clippers. I personally don't like the feel of clippers on my head. Plus, I don't like the front lined up look. It looks kinda masculine to me but that's just my opinion. I like brushing my soft harline in the front of my hair. I will shape my back because it grows down my neck. So now I cut my own hair. LOL. I know everyone can't do that properly so going to a barber or stylist is their option.
