I don’t think it’s possible to not touch the ends. If it’s super short, then the ends are probably almost natural

I can’t help but to think once you relax your hair the first time, you’ll need to keep relaxing it because the new growth is going to clash with the straight ends. Is this true? Or do you constantly have to start over (shave it)?

Hi, you’re right about the new growth clashing with the straight ends. If you want it straight, you’ll have to keep relaxing the new growth periodically. You only need to start over if you no longer want it straight. You can either choose to let the straight ends fall out or cut it off.
