"It Almost ATE ME" TRANSFORMATION Of A Severely OVERGROWN Yard That Had Not Been Cared For

- The owner of the company, which is located in the center of the City, asked me to clean up a small yard that had not been taken care of for more than three years. I have to cut the Live Laurel hedge in half, remove weeds, fix the fleece on the gravel and clean the sidewalk of moss. The task seemed easy until I started cutting the Laurel, as the 2.5m high hedge was also very wide and dense, which made access difficult and I had to wade through the Shrubs where I couldn't get a good position, so when I stood on the thin branches I often fell over. At some point I regretted taking the job, but if I had refused I would have let the client down, but that's not my style. Despite the small yard it took me 8 hours to do the job, the first day 5 hours and the second day another 3 hours.

This was CRAZY! It is so overgrown it needs to be cut in HALF to be reasonable and attractive. I hope the owner sees how ridiculous this garden is at this point. You did a Herculean job! Anyone else would have quit when the damned thing started eating you and you were fighting for your life. I truly have never seen anything as brutal as this. You are amazing for not giving up. The rest of us would have walked off!

Cutting such hedging used to be my job (retired). I used to ensure there was access to the centre by cutting channels through it and create paths. Also ensure there is a gap between the shrubs and any walls to allow access from both sides. 😉 any time.

The hedges sooo need to be narrowed and reduced somehow to accommodate routine maintenance. Didn't the landscapers who planted these fast growing hedges realize this?

This had to be one of the most entertaining transformations I’ve ever watched! There were so many disappearing acts with you tackling this monster, only to have you pop up and take it on again! I know you had to have been roughed up pretty much by this jungle of green! Awesome job! Your tenacity is extraordinary!

You are definitely a pro at cutting those bushes. You need to be an acrobat to tackle them. I’m sorry, but I did laugh at some of your mishaps and was very happy you didn’t get hurt. I hope you charged hazard duty pay. At times I didn’t know if you or the bush was going to win the battle. The attachment you used to clean the moss off the brick walkway worked almost as good as pressure washing. Very enjoyable video.

What a Herculean task! It looked funny to watch but I am sure it wasn’t for you. Frankly that whole thing should have been removed and something more manageable put in its place. The problem is most gardens require management monthly at the very least,to look their best.
I would have chopped it off much lower down and made a pathway through it.
Oh my gosh, who in their right mind plants hedges like this? Sorry I had to laugh a few times when you fell and you would pop up in different spots. It all came out looking great, hope they paid you well because you sure earned it. Must say this was the most entertaining video I've ever seen.

Those hedges were massive! I've never seen you have to go to the middle of any hedge to trim it or fall off your ladder or into the hedges for that matter. Yet you continued which speaks of your dedication to your work and name. The camera angles were very good. Sorry, but you looked like a fish floundering in an ocean of green. It’s a shame how such a beautiful building with nice landscaping would be neglected to such extent. Pebble walks, brick walk, tall plant walls .. it’s got all to make it look like a paradise but neglected to grow into a jungle. It needs regular care so that the work wouldn’t be such monumental. Kustorez, you have done a magnificent job ..

hallo , ja wer pflanzt sowas bin in der gleichen branche , die ganzen kirschlorbeer , hätte man auch als einzelne pflanze schneiden können , aber so als riesiges teil , alles ineinander verwachsen , vollkommener blödsinn
Das war auch die erste Frage, die ich mir gestellt habe. Entweder müßten die für diesen Job richtig Geld hinlegen oder ich würde ihn nicht mehr machen. Das ist eine Zumutung und für die Natur auch nicht gut.

Tak to byl celovečerní thriller. Máte můj obrovský obdiv, že jste to nevzdal. Co znám vaše videa, tak takový živý plot jste snad neměl. Byl opravdu hodně vysoký, místy skoro jako strom. A hlavně široký. Já vás upřímně litovala a vůbec bych se nedivila, kdyby jste ujel😊. To není ve vaší povaze. Tak jste stříhal, lezl na žebřík, pak dolů upravit kameru, pak znovu na žebřík a stále dokola a do toho ty nešťastné pády. Mohu se vám ale zaručit, že právě tohle udělá video ještě atraktivnější. Oh my gosh! My heart was in my throat for most of the video! On a logical level, I knew you made it through okay since we're seeing your video. But on an emotional level, I was scared to death you'd come crawling out, cut to ribbons or, worse still, not come crawling out at all! In that really huge, wide section that tried to kill you, we're there 3 rows of laurel? If so, maybe you can suggest that they let you cut out the middle row (except the ends) so it's empty space in the center for easier maintenance? If just two rows, they're so thick that perhaps their branches can be cut close to the core of each, leaving just a perimeter of laurel, again with the center clear for maintenance?
At any rate, it looked great when finished, but you were completely worn out! However did you manage to hold that over your head for about 5 hours? I couldn't hold a 5 lb bag of potatoes over my head for more than a few minutes! 😂 My arms were aching in sympathy. Glad you made it through and hope they saw some of the battle royale through the window and gave you a sizable tip!!🌿🌿🌿

Those bushes put up quite a fight and, a couple of times, I wasn't sure if you were going to make it out alive. But, you kept plugging away and beat them into submission. I've never seen anyone work so hard to trim bushes! I hope you were well paid for your efforts! Great job!

Wow that was a beast of a bush! There were a couple of Times I wondered if the bushes swallowed you up, then to see you reappear in the strangest places. I admit I laughed few times unsure if you tamed the beast but you did work up a sweat doing it. Great job trimming and cleaning the walk path. That was a lot of work. @@kustorez777 Only one question from 59:36 up to 59:59 instead cutting those stingy plants why not try to get them out completely with the root ? those plants are really nasty and if you just cut them and leave the roots instead take them out entirely with the root, the next spring will spun & grow again another plant from same root..

I felt ashamed for having laughed a few times, specially when you came out of the jungle on your hands and knees but felt a little better when I saw I was not the only one but then again you were very brave to tackle such a hard job without the help of your assistant (why, as a matter of fact ?) and the result was amazing but you took way too many risks, you could have been seriouly hurt ! Thanks heaven, everything ended well but you must have been exhausred when you got home. Thank you for this great video and please take care of youself.
