Is Spirit's BIG FRONT SEAT Worth It?

In this video, I test Spirit's Big Front Seats on my flight from LaGuardia to Miami International Airport. The cost per seat was $40 when booking but it can fluctuate depending on where you're going as well as time and day. Are they worth the extra cost?

When seated in the front row, you can’t have bags/etc for safety reasons. Unsecured luggage can impede evacuation during emergencies. They can become projectiles. Purses/etc can do the same. Straps can get caught on armrests, people scrambling in the dark can grab them and pull you down. Everything a flight attendant asks of you is for a safety reason.

I have to say if I flew on Spirit I'd probably pay the extra cost.

I flew between FLL and Newark in September 2021 when the WiFi was only $1 and it was very fast (400 mbps). It must not fully operational on all planes yet.

Spirit has a bidding system if you don't pay for the seat during booking, you can bid on a seat afterwards. Good video. Thank you.

Thanks for the video I just changed it to 2A , I had 1A haha 😆 I have a big backpack and since I won’t be able to have it in front of me then it won’t work. But I chose the one behind the one you were in. Cost $40

It was OK... I was comfortable... I knew the seats didn't recline, but they were back a little bit, had to pay for the food and drinks, no charging port for your phone( I didn't really care) and NO TV'.. I was ok with all of that. I honestly don't know if I'll fly spirit again. Like I said, I didn't have a bad experience, I guess I'm just used to Flying JETBLUE..
