Maybe you have the newer version of the tegraexplorer. you can go to the scripts on the bottom and select firmwaredump

@@jondoe230 Yes I did, turns out you just need to dump sys. I dumped emu first and it didn't work.

Make sure, your other bootloaders and atmosphere support the newest version. I was waiting like a month before I could use my switch because I didn't look.
Does the OFW need to match the CFW if using eMMC? I want to install 12.0.2 which I can do using AIO and install using Daybreak? Just means I've leave my OFW on the current (10.4) Thanks!
Great video! I seem to be stuck though. My Tegraexplorer is the new one v4.0.1 and I dont have a dump option. I saw a script section for firmwaredump but when I click it, all it does it show me my fw. it just says sys/ fw is 13.1.0 and absolutly nothing happens after that. very strange. Anyone know how to fix this?

@@ants00 that video is how to update atmosphere and hekate once you update your system firmware.
This video is to update your emunand firmware which is a different partition on your switch. You should know the difference between your SYSNAND and EMUNAND

Hi! If I migrate from SXOS to Atmosphere my emunand that is already in a xfat format card, does the process is the same or the fact my emunand come from a migrated sistema it's quite different?

My daybreak only has my current version 10.2.0 as an update any idea what is wrong?
i don't know if there is a problem with the latest version of tegra but it does not appear in the folder daybreak says update not found even tho it is there

Does dumping firmware dirty your sysmmc? Its not really worth it if dirties the nand.
Does booting back into an older firmware on emummc not burn an efuse??
You burn fuses when you downgrade... Which you shouldn't be doing anyway

after the Update, my Games do not work, and i cant boot to sysnand. It gibes me an error, "Pkg2 decryption failed" can someone help me?
I think you bricked your system, and if so it's not fixable
I'm new to thjis maybe someone can help me out with some questions:
1. this is to play newer games that reqire a newer firmaware?
2. Do you have to update CFW at the same time?
3. Do you have to update the actual system firmware? As in the system you boot into without RCM, Atmosphere etc???? You do this online?

Noob question: (I'm still learning what an EmuMMC is/can do) Am I able to play online multiplayer games like MH Rise without the possibility of being banned? Context: I solely want to install CFW on my switch just to max out money & items in my item box (because G rank item drop rates hate me XD).

It comes with atmoshpere release, it appears in switch folder.
When I title launch the homebre menu, it just says that "Unable to start software. Return to the HOME Menu and try again". And it keeps on pooping out whenever I try to title launch the homebrew menu.
This is a silly question but how can I update my sysMMC to latest?
@@JL-08 Exactly the same method, you choose what type of firmware do you load in atmosphere.

This happened to me. I think it's because he forgot to mention that you HAVE to update your sysnand through system settings before updating your emmunand. I did that and then it worked.

Uhh...because this is just one method to update your emunand? Not sure what kind of question this is? Did you watch the whole video or understand what the purpose of this video is?

id try updating atmosphere and the firmware. I use AIO for atmosphere updates and daybreak for the firmware. Hope that works for ya. I've been trying all day myself to play Skyward Sword.

I HAD to go online with my PRE-hacked Switch (bought it hacked) becasue Tinfoil WONT work becasue it says I NEED to go online, so I did to try & finally get Tinfoil to install/work & my asshole Switch updated itself to Firmware 13, which mean I am screwed correct? If so, anyone need a $1 Switch paperweight? omg! HELP!
