I will just say from personal experience - drawers should be the only thing for the lower cabinets. It's so much easier to organize and use. It's worth it
I'm just living vicariously through Macenna, doing ALL THE THINGS home reno and decor related that I'd love to be doing.
A couple things...first, just amazed at your skills, as always. Second...you definitely need your own show...I'm not kidding. Have you been approached yet? And lastly... when you are finished with this sweet masterpiece, can you please video a housewarming with all your favorite friends and family, where all the ambient lighting is being utilized, and you are using All The Things for serving?

Get your electrician to wire the lighting in cofee station and food pantry to a sensor so that it turns on automatically when you open the door. Complete game changer!
Wood that isn’t at least primed in a kitchen will swell over time and you will have a difficulty opening your drawers

I love how you're not just a designer but you're also like 'hold my coffee imma build some cabinets real quick'! I love this wave of women doing DIY, designing, renovating, etc. their spaces on here. It's very inspiring and the way it's filmed is like you've all got your own HGTV shows lol - it's great! Will there be a point where an inspector comes in and checks the zones and codes of everything or has that already happened?

MaCenna i remember being so impressed when you made your patio chairs and entryway bench and here you are renovating a house. We’ve literally seen you grow and learn and it’s so crazy being able to witness this.
My mom's house has lower cabinet drawers that are huge that she puts her pots and pans in. It might be a good idea for the ones you have in the corner! I am not sure what you said the measurements were, but it would be nice to fit larger pots and pans in there. She has one big cabinet with two big drawers for them. I love the color you picked for the cabinets too. Thank you for being so detailed in what you are sharing with us!
