- Aggressive taxi driver overtaking the standstill traffic .... the standstill traffic was blocked for hours because of a lorry. 5 minutes later another one does the same thing so watch part two.

To the people saying he is breaking the law using his mobile phone you are correct however in circumstances such as these (driver being aggressive) he would more than likely be able to convince a court that he had good reason to use his phone.

He may not even be using his phone to record this, he could have a stand-alone camera.
The law doesn't apply to just phones it applies to any hand held device such as a stand-alone camera.

The amendment to the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations defines a "handheld device" as one that performs an interactive communication function by transmitting and receiving data, other than a two way radio using specific frequencies. A camera is not a "handheld device" by this definition, unless it's part of another device (e.g. mobile phone/tablet) that does meet this definition.

Send the video to Transport For London,they will probably revoke his Private Hire Vehicle license.He has no business being on the road with that driving style and aggressive behaviour.
YNWA they will probably give him 6 points as well for using his phone whilst driving
anonymous UK TFL cannot issue points on driving license's and as mentioned above laws can be broken as long as you can justify why you broke the law and in this case the van driver has good cause to film this aggressive man.

Mark Wood He is a Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) used to be called mini cabs. In the top right hand corner of his windscreen is a green disc,this is a PHV license issued by Transport For London. There is also another green disc on his rear windscreen. Trust me i know what i am talking about,my line of works involves traffic.

Wasn’t a mistake. On a standstill traffic he wanted to quickly get in. The van driver was supposed to do a right approx 1 minute drive, instead he done a left almost 30 minutes drive cuz everything was stuck..
can't believe that passenger got back in and presumably ended up paying this clown the fare.

I watched this video several times now and a couple of questions ...is this a taxi ? Coz the woman gets into the back seat not the front passenger seat ,if it is a taxi he needs taking off the road and his licence checked as well as his insurance . If you look at the female she appears to be fit and well and in command of her self so why has he driven past all those cars its clearly not a race to the a and e department . One can tbere fore only assume its because the driver disregaurds the rules of our roads ....and there is a dangef to all . I hope therefore this video is shown to police so they can investigate and prosicute
