thats how cyril jackson was, but, he didnt like the identity politics of baker.... he was the tolken black dude, and i think he knew it. we talked about it a few times. but, they wanted him to be kader, punk weed head kid. but CJ was chill as hell, and just wasnt about that.
Tbh this is much more skateboarding than all these flawless edits we see and to my opinion, it still is amazing to see. But I really enjoy it i guess too lol
Dude Chomp On This is hands down the greatest skateboard video ever. Yes it puts video days in second on my list. That is 100% skateboarding. Back 50 in cop oakleys and a lakers uniform…priceless
Ben Raemers - Oververt The guy could skate rails, manuals, gaps, and transition with amazing, effortless style. It's a real shame he didn't stick around longer.
Chomp on this was me and my friends go-to video. We prolly watched it over a hounded times. One of my top fav vids of all time. Jamie Thomas has a sick part too.
Blind What if. Grant Patterson, if I'm not mistaken hit the first nollie front foot flip I had seen in a line, as the end of the opening line. Who got the props as the song 🔥💯
Koston’s “Mouse” part was almost entirely switch or nollie. My vote would go to David Gravette’s “And Now” part, though. All styles and terrains with some goofy stuff to keep it fresh.
These dudes invented the tricks you see kids doing. The next generation shouldn’t always surpass the previous. They get passed our lifetimes of knowledge and experience and can builds upon that.
@@OrionARS Yeah, I lived through the 90s/2000 Koston mania era and still have the same opinion till this day. You and whoever are also entitled to your own opinions on this particular skater
During that line he was enjoying a couple beers During the session! That was a drunk line! He still nailed it!
Koston's fails are better than my lands
I've always loved segments that showed how many fails there were before they landed it. Shows dedication and the true level of difficulty.
I’ve heard others say that you realise how good Koston is when you skate with him and he’s just messing around

@@beatstreat-gy4qdyou know him?
Actually still have chomp on this on VHS somewhere in the attic. Love it
Honestly it's a great one because it shows that part of the process where you can do the tricks but you're still hammering it out to make em clean.

Ronson lambert is often forgotten but had amazing tricks and style
A time to shine
His forecast part was really dope.
@@HipHopBeatSource yep
This is a good topic! I'm excited to see what other parts get mentioned! I'll try to see if I can think of any 🤔
I remember watching chomp on this with my brother. All the lines were goofy it’s great
Kostons one of the legends i think that backside nose slide down the spiral staircase is the best nose slide ever
eS Menikmati

Definitely Scott Kane in Bootleg 3000. The man could do everything 20 years ahead of his time
Ill never forget seeing the sequence of that switch heel front nose down a rail and being like WHO THE FUCK IS THIS
Really good choice. Koston is so amazing that he’s permanently under rated.

Sadly ):
He had such a long career from the days of h-street not even Hensley was able to achieve. Case in point the guy is simply living legend.
Koston is a legend!
One of the best to ever do it!!
Nollie backfoot impossible was insane 🔥😭
Damn i forgot about the lakers jersey clips… pure nostalgia
Chomp on this was me and my friends go-to video. We prolly watched it over a hounded times. One of my top fav vids of all time. Jamie Thomas has a sick part too.
Froston 🍺

And his switch vol.1 part was crazy too
the nollie flip at wilshire was nuts
I just love skateboarding and snowboarding skateboarding taught me all my rail tricks snowboarding
I still wear es shoes because of my man Koston
Whole video was an awesome homie vibe like the tilt mode ones
That was Gritty Class.
I think Bucky Laseks
buck-it list was insanely underrated.
Met koston in real life.. he had the most focused eyes I had ever seen 😂 terrifying
Koston put his stamp on the history of skateboarding.
Looks like the ammunation plaza in gta 5 at the end wit kobe jersey
Bro im the full Kobe fit is hilarious
Koston was a Vibe!

That's why I love koston it's raw and shows the reality of skating without the edit of the video
Jaime Thomas' part in chomp is also underrated.
Every trick in that line is insane
One of my favourite skaters as a kid along with Steve cabalerro
John Cardiel’s part in Sight Unseen
love these old clips
Shomp on dis is my fav vidja
and the GG Allin this is a rad part
Back when he was Frostin!!
Chomp on this!!!!❤❤
Thought he always lands his tricks but good to know

Koston be high AF!
Koston is great ❤
Only people who can't skate well judge how others skate
I used to replay that video part over and over and over.
Dude not lying
Satva leung all systems go-guys a maniac!
Chomp and Baker was the rawest
Same with Jamie Thomas' part in the same video
Chop on this
G.G. koston
100%
Shove late flip?
Why they put that in a video part tho?
Damn I forgot about Kobe Koston. That look brings back some memories.
What part is this?
Chomp on this!
@@storied_skateboarding Thanks
Didn’t Dane flash his pee pee to another skater after the trick? 😮
Underrated?? Every kid in every video I see can do everything they just did way better

You know nothing. Stay away from skateboarding
You obviously missed the point of chomp on this.
Koston is over rated
Your mom is over rated
This was like 2000 yo lol. Shit was different back then. These days he wouldn't be too special, but he was a beast in those days
Child.
Complain some more?
