  • 2010 Infiniti G37 Convertible review - In 3 minutes you'll be an expert on the Infiniti G37 Convertible
    This month we're plugging a funny video about the Infiniti IPL and the fact that our salesman was completely misinformed about why it is called the IPL, discovering only in the end that he has completely embarrassed himself. Take a peek if you have an extra couple of minutes.
    • 2014 Infiniti Q60 IPL ...
    Hi, this is Joe Tunney bringing to you a comprehensive catalogue of hundreds of great vehicles from throughout the automobile industry. Although we specialize in Acura, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, sports cars, SUV's and of course our beloved Infiniti product line, we also like to carry and review exotic cars from time to time like Ferrari, Dodge Viper, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX, as well as affordable vehicles that fit into every budget. For 2014 we are going to make a point of reviewing everything we carry, demonstrating for you the interior and exterior features and condition, the wheels and tires, trunk space, as well as an overview of power, technology, economy and driving characteristics to give you factual information as well as information unique to this particular vehicle so that you can enjoy a more intelligent shopping experience without ever having to step onto the lot.
    A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Every once in a while I'll even have a little fun to keep the videos fresh but I want to make certain you know that you can always email me at joet@infinitiofkirkland.com if you ever have any questions or feel I have made a mistake or used poor judgment or poor taste.
    I am truly thankful for the hundreds of thousands of views and more importantly, perhaps much more importantly, I am honored to have been viewed in over 200 countries around the world. We all are ambassadors for the things we believe in regardless of where we were born and from my little corner of the world here outside of Seattle, Washington I want to express my sincere gratitude for you having invited me into your home, your place of work, or for simply taking a minute of your valuable time to listen to what I have to say. Maybe we will never meet face to face, but I am forever in your debt for giving me the opportunity to share with you the things I have learned. 2010 Infiniti G37 Convertible review. 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible reviews. 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible consumer reviews. 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible specs. 2010 Infiniti G37 sport 2d convertible . 2010 Infiniti G37 sport convertible for sale. 2010 Infiniti G37 sport convertible specs. 2010 Infiniti G37 coupe convertible. 2010 Infiniti G37 coupe convertible for sale. 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible anniversary edition. 2010 infiniti g37 convertible midnight garnet. midnight Garnet Infiniti. Did anyone else notice that the Top did not close all the way??

    • @plumpis
      @plumpis Před 7 lety +7

      Yep, that's potentially a pricey repair.

      It's because he put the container with the manuals etc in the trunk space that the top goes into. Not a smart move before putting the top down.

      @imtiazamin6265 Před 6 lety +5

      I own the same car in the same color in the same year, putting things in the trunk breaks the motors (42 mechanical parts) moving the top down. Pricey !!!

      Imtiaz Amin would you suggest buying one, of course out of warranty? I hear the repair on the convertible can be pricey after warranty is up.

      Good catch! He broke the darn thing! Definitely gotta keep the moving parts lubed. Dang I'll bet the top would be a nightmare to repair if someone rear ended the vehicle.

    Lol, that anywhere he pleased to put it just broke the convertible top on video.
    Nice

    Notice he doesn't mention the space rear of the "handy divider" in the trunk is all the trunk you can use if you plan on putting the top down.

    Any issues with the tops on these G37s? I've had convertibles before and there are always top issues.

      Surprisingly few reports. But there have been a few issues. Problem is when the top is down there is ZERO trunk space.

      I've been thinking about buying a used G37. I checked consumer reports and they are above average on reliability. Not a Toyota however.

      BTW; there are a fair number of reports of rattles and squeaks on the convertible top, both up and down.

      I own a 2009 g37 convertible. I’m having issues with top not opening so hydraulic is failing. Anyone had issues and where to take the repairs? Dealership charges way too much

    I noticed your passengers side convertible top didn't close. why didn't yours close? is there a problem?

    • @everycarSeattle
      @everycarSeattle  Před rokem

      There are known problems with the convertible tops but normally it has to do with the gap between the tonneau and the top of the roof when it is stowed in the trunk...as these get older, you'll see other problems pop up, but these have proven very reliable compared to their peers

    I love this car. I had a 2013 G37 hardtop Convertable. someone told it 2 days after my birthday, July5, 2020. :( I am looking to purchase another one

      They are amazing cars and particularly amazing for the price. Sorry to hear your car was totalled, that stinks. I had a triple black convertible and still love that color combo...if I was getting another one, that's what I'd get.

      There are so many cheap G37's these days, it's crazy...they're solid even with high miles and you're seeing so many of them over 100k now and under 10 grand they are such a bargain

    Convertibles are smarter than motorcycles because you can drive them longer during the year duh😆

    Are these a smart buy with 60K + miles on the odometer?

    • @TheRicketascale
      @TheRicketascale Před 7 lety +2

      the vq is a pretty stout motor...easily pass 150k

    • @CheekyMonkey1776
      @CheekyMonkey1776 Před 6 lety +1

      Freddy Medina
      60k on the odometer isn't bad. Price depends on the year. Take a close look at the brakes as they are pricey to repair. Engines in these are very good. Suspension is tight and rides a bit rough.

    When I was roadster shopping I was adamant to avoid motor-driven roofs. Notorious problems. What do you expect from a multi-hinged cantelevered device? . I bought a Pontiac Solstice instead. Loving it.
