      It's not difficult
      It is made in a predefined way to not make it difficult, by making as small and concise verses as possible (which creates a difficulty to decipher the literal meaning and implications) and using periodic rhythms

    Well sir, while studying Vedas OR Upanishadas what is important? Subjective Knowledge and not Objective Knowledge. Or in other words, western way of studying is mostly about "who, what, when, where and little about why and how". But our scripture should be studied for "What, Why and How". Thas is why we don't find any author, place and date mentioned.

    I am not expert in Sanskrit, but have tried to study Upanishads un English, Hindi and Marathi. The main 10. I can be wrong but I heard adi shankaracharya wrote commentary on them hence then regarded as important.
    I also hear Sanskrit language has not changed much over time like Marathi or other languages have. I also hear Sanskrit was the same from himalay to Kerala, something unusual for a language. I could be wrong

    I've been trying to understand about Vedas for longest time, an felt so unfortunate for that.
    MY QUESTION, I heard that "Karma kanda', is part of the Vedas where is taught the ritual procedures ( I assume for pujas and homas, ) however, I have yet to read in any English translation of these " ritual procedures", other than prayers ND supplication to Diety, but I didn't see bout puja samgri to use, and what to do in the ritual... Maybe I just did not recognize it if I did cross it. So can Yu tell if there is. Very specific part of Veda, telling this...ND yes I will check yur monologue than.

    Man-tra = mental-transport literally. The Veda (the "s" for plural is a western addition, like the "s" in "sutras". It is mantra and sutra only) was designed to be memorized and were therefore presented in a mnemonic form of verses that can be mugged up and recited. The Brahmins had the sole duty of transporting this knowledge down the ages by memorization and have been the perfect time machine which is not possible in written form. There is negligible difference in these verses from South to North and East to West of India. That itself is testimony to the power of this knowledge.

    I have a question for everyone : If the Universe came into existence by the Big Bang, how do you and I (meaning everyone) came into existence ???

    • @avm4377
      @avm4377 Před 3 lety +4

      well, Concept of "Linear Time" and "3D Space" is illusion of mind(Manas). When you are in deep sleep, you exist but awareness of this "time and space and object" is gone. Our entire experience is of mind( Manas ) only and that has a limitation, therefore you can not get exact picture of reality with the help of only mind( manas ).
      For your question you must understand the concept of "Karma". What karma really means :--- It means in broad sense "memory". For example --- "when oxygen and hydrogen come together they come in specific way and not in other way" this means they have " Karma .. i.e memory" to come together in specific way only.
      We believe in "Continuous Unbroken existence"---i.e. Atman. So nothing is created nor is destroyed but only transformed , governed my the "Law of Karma".
      Therefor so-called Big Bang is also an illusion of "Linear time" ... actually think of big bang as transformation from one to another... continuously happening. Namasakaram!!!

      Some of the good philosophy like in many upnishad has come out of veda.
      Ayurveda and yoga have come out of veda
      Besides it tells us about our history and philosophy and culture also if u r religious then vedas help in the same view as bibles or quaran.
      There is literary appreciation too.
      Also, the soul of India is from vedas, which is tolerant and has belief that there can be many ways to get to God.

  • @abhinavanand336
    @abhinavanand336 Před 3 lety +3

    Explaining the vedas is a bit pointless. Because there’s a ridiculous amount of diversity and literature expanding on its meaning. Through commentaries, smritis, etc. So even saying there are 3 kinds of karma, is a bit troublesome. There are different schools which debate the relationship and existence of these 3 types. I think Advaita, or more so I would say, Kashmiri Shaivism is the best most logical and beneficial interpretation of karma and even in totality the vedas kinda. In these philosophies, karma is not the cause of suffering, the cause is the false view of the self and superimposition of the ‘I’ on transient things, which leaves us perpetually attached and a slave to the things that aren’t under our control. whether physical objects like cars or things like the ego.

      Well that's the beauty of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). You are free to followever whichever sect you want that either believes in The Vedas or doesn't (such as the Carvaka sect) and amongst each teaches The Vedas as they were taught. So really this is all your opinion and valid to you, but each person needs to find the sect and path that best suits them to uphold dharma. Plurality in Santana Dharma is still just manifestations of one eternal truth or concept. 3 kinds of karma and people's ideas on each type is of course, ridiculous because each combined would make up the best definition of THE definition of what karma is comprised of. Each as an individual concept is lacking.

I always had these questions..about hindu faith, all the gods, vedas, upanishad, and epics like Ramayana, maha bharat all these and all other spiritual aspects .. are all these not man made and subject to changes over time and erosion of originallity of gods, epics, vedas etc. I mean none of these are not divine origin? There are no evidence these are ( from different versions of Gods, idols, books etc) from devine origin. In that case how it connects with intelligence and wisdom? Why shd a large community ( in india) follow the faith which has no devine origin. It could all be completely fiction added to religion at different point in time.
