This is a transcript of seemingly perfect music, perfect storylike telling of Jerome Kern's perfect musical story form.
God Bless the genius Tommy Flanagan, and in particular his duos with Red Mitchell. What an opportunity
this transcript offers to study what music can be and should be: a kind of serenity and flight of the spirit.
! Muchas GRACIAS Anthony Tseng Channel !!!!!!!
Just awesome work, as always.
fantastic work as usual
Nice transcription. Good job.
Huge Thanks for taking the time to transcribe the accompaniment to the Bass Solo!
Incidentally, I spent the morning looking over the 1st Prelude in C Maj from "18 Little Preludes" by J. S. Bach, and had the strange experience of hearing the two tunes playing in my head simultaneously while listening and reading along with your transcription.
If I could make a request for a future transcription it would be:
czcams.com/video/WUOKv4f67mk/video.html
A person with enough Imagination and the Wherewithal could take these Three Tunes and really forge a Foundation of Fundamental Knowledge and Technique that would leave the current Pedagogy in the Proverbial Dust.
Cheers, Jack
1000 upvotes to Jack for this comment and for the suggestion for transcription of Tommy Flanagan"s
classic "Relaxin at Camarillo" from the OVERSEAS album. Dittos for that idea !
Bar 24 seems to be missing a note from the RH
I'd like you to help me transcribe Seven Step to Heavens (Miles Davis), part piano and accom piano, all the way to the end. I really want that sheet music.
Hi! Someone already did that on CZcams you could check it out : czcams.com/video/78I4-S1tkNs/video.htmlsi=tqo6Oblx8CvEfOGM
not just solo, I want full include left hand, head in accomp, solo, and head out.
Fantastic Job!! Tommy was one of the greats and this solo has such incredible flow. Red Mitchell sounds great as well. Good choice!
