- Today I talk about the Road To episodes of Family Guy, and explain why they are (for the most part) the best episodes in the entire series. These episodes are some of my favorite in all of Family Guy, and they are proof that Family Guy was, at one time, pretty fantastic.

Road To Rhode Island is the greatest and most iconic Family Guy episode of all time

i agree, after all these years i cant remember enjoying anything from family guy as much as rtri classic episode iconic episode and easily an S tier for me i really wish i could watch it again but ion got no way to watch family guy atm
just so you know in road to vegas the real brain was teleported with a clone stewie and the real stewie flew with a clone brian.
meaning the real ones lived and the clones died.
it's worth noting Seth Macfarlane did a song to futurama about Mars Vegas and his frank sinatra-like style fits perfectly, so there's really no excuse for roads to vegas to not have a musical number
Also I would really enjoy to see how you would rank the Family Guy video game "Back to the multiverse". I know its not technically a Roads to episode but it somewhat is and yes, I know people hate the game but it does have an interesting story.
Great video! I think some of the strongest “Road to” episodes didn’t feature a B-plot because they had a full story to tell, one that didn’t need the support of a secondary comedy b-plot. I don’t think they could have made the premise of “Road to India” into a single-plot premise, there really wasn’t enough substance and it didn’t seem like they cared about the story they wanted to tell.
When the Family Guy movie comes out, it better be a musical and it better be rated R
I love Roads to Vegas (mainly cause the references to Sinatra :) and I don't feel Roads to Vegas needs a musical number with it having somewhat having one where we see Stewie and Brian enjoying their winnings while one of the best parts in one of Frank Sinatra's best songs in my opinion, Luck be a Lady, which is an iconic symbol for Vegas as it does vagally reference Vegas. The only reason why I say all this is because Seth Macfarlane idolizes Sinatra so much (as do I) that he may feel it would wrong and somewhat of a discredit to Sinatra if he did a musical number instead of this scene as the episode wouldn't have time for both. This is all my opinion so I do not discredit anything that anyone else has said or what you have shared.
I never really noticed the “Road(s) to” episodes until recently where they have a special introduction instead of a theme song and consider it a special, even though they are not two part episodes. Would be a lot of fun if they were, though.

I'd feel like Family Guy at it's best when they do the Road to episodes with Brian and Stewie
