People think that kids learn curse words through tv, but let's be honest, kids learn curse words from their parents and other kids. Ask any 10 year old how many curse words they know and they'll recite as many or more curse words then you.

The irony of the actual FCC enjoying the episode cracks me up.
Also, censors can be funnier than just flat out curses if you make them creative enough.

A great example of this is Rick and Morty, they sensor the curse words and it only makes it funnier.

Also Aqua Teen Hunger Force, they mostly used random sound effects or just play the swear in reverse.

The moment I saw Stewie in a toilet, I knew someone would make that reference.

I think censorship in general is very stupid. Adults should be able to watch stuff with swears or violence or whatever if they are choosing to, and people should be able to make that content if it is not harming anybody.
I learned swears from my parents. I also started watching violent and curse-heavy and inappropriate movies and tv-shows because my parents showed them to me.
I am not worse off for my parents showing them to me, and adults with children whom they would actively stop them from watching things (when they are watching them, that is) would also not be worse off, because people hear about swears everywhere. And most of the time, people who watch violent stuff will stop if they are too disturbed or keep watching it if they are not!

I think censorship can work to make a show better or memorable. Take YuGiOh, the Shadow Realm was supposed to be Hell, until censorship made them change it to the Shadow Realm, and lets face it, the Shadow Realm is better then Hell in my opinion and way more memorable.

The thing is that you can be rescued from the shadow realm as they said in the show, makes it 10x less scary
