People are always going on about how smart rick and morty is but south park has always been one of the most clever shows I've seen
People just like Rick Sanchez because just always says the obvious followed by a shit ton of jargon and scientific terms.
Rick & Morty is just a giant acid trip that still makes sense, south park has always been our satirical current event-based comedy show. They're evolving, which says even more about how they can adapt to the world around them.
You notice, R&M and South Park have yet to acknowledge each other or make fun of each other. There is hopefully a silent respect there. Both shows go out of their way to show the real reality.
@@ryansizemore5064 I did like the one joke in the season 3 finale when rick says that South Park already did a minecraft episode a few years back, and morty says "jeez they're fast" and rick says "or we're slow". I thought it was a fun acknowledgement of how different the styles of show are, yet they undoubtedly tap into pretty much the same demographic.
what impresses me the most is that they can do one of these well tought episodes in only 6 days
I feel like south park is the only show that knows wtf is up
Boondocks used to.
Heavy .O still does
Gives a big middle finger to both sides.
because the episodes are made in 4/5 days
only show? chill out a bit

@@user-qp9uc9xx8d thats not it. They do an episode explaining that.
@@user-qp9uc9xx8d I feel like your half right, it's not because kenny resets the day but I do feel like his power of always coming back to life has something to do with it
@@danielaarroyo1622 Nah that's explained in the Mysterion and Coon trilogy.

It always had been *Bang*
Was thinking the same thing.
@@Erick-1130 Me too
YEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!
What I've been saying for years
If you are going to tear down, have something to replace it. Otherwise its a mad-maxian anarchistic future for us all if that rebellion succeeds. And no, pie in the sky "but if everyone just does things this way like I expect them to" is not an answer. There are a lot of good ideas out there that sound lovely.....that are entirely unrealistic when you apply the human factor. You cannot force people to act in a way that does not take advantage of a poorly implemented system. You have to do the hard thing, troubleshoot, plan, develop a strong methodology otherwise you're just going to end up bitching at a brick wall. Because no matter how nice your dream of utopia is, someone will end up getting oppressed, denied, forgotten, and thats on the assumption you can even fund such a thing in the first place. Also, no, taking from those that have just because you have not is not an option. When you are the have, how will you react when my poor ass comes for what you own because I dont own it?
I think the main problem is that so many people fail to identify South Park's caricatures as caricatures - extreme mockeries there to show the worst aspects of a concept taken to the maximum potential degree.
Instead they're so often pointed to as "See! This is who you people are" when, as you say, virtually nobody is actually that one dimensional walking parody. Although if they are, CZcams sure is designed to ensure their comments rise to the top.
Very true. The show is (especially now) a satire. Everything is a hyperbolized caricature of actually existing things.
you are speaking the truth
A true libertarian mindset. Make fun of everyone dont pick a side
@@pablitofap your comment is basically a long-winded "no u". The right or even center-right of today is nowhere near as bad as the left in terms of censorship, zealotry and misplaced smugness. You can see it in the "white people bad Dx" rhetoric every 5 seconds, CZcams shutting down right wingies, cancel culture, etc.

I come from the future and can say that not only is this more relevant, It has been cranked up to a thousand.
South park is actually genius, able to maintain extremely entertaining and funny storylines with hidden meaning and statements behind all the jokes and profanity, this show needs more credit
Hey there ladyboy I got treats if you come to my van 😄
I just laughed so hard....
It made you be friends with McCain and plan a heist on the smithsonian. Btw about last night as got to be one of my favourite South Park episode
Do you still have bad blood with Randy Marsh for saying that he should've voted for McCain by the end of the 2012 election?
Kevin Petrak I forgive him since he was hungover from all the partying since i won
My favorite is You're Getting Old, hearing Randy and Sharon argue was just listening to Matt and Trey. Super deep shit. Imagine making a project in college and here you are 20 years down the line with your best friend and you've created an entire fictional world and mass cultural following. Must be intensely stressful yet incrediblely humbling. Love those guys.
Definitely an underrated dual episode. How Stan can only hear and see shit unless he drinks excessively and that’s his “blue pill,” to enter the matrix. Reminds me of the saying
“To be well adjusted to a sick society is not the measure of good health.”
you just gave me content to finish my essay about advertising and consumerism. thank you
This is still relevant in 2020, maybe even more so...
In these troubling times we all need to feel secure. That's why we are open following guidelines buy some fucking windows.
I felt the desensitazion episodes from a couple years ago was a way of them saying "it's hard to be edgy when everyone stops caring". Now these last few episodes are pointing at the people who care too much about irrelevant stuff or care too much from the wrong angle.
I actually thought this was made in 2020 lol
I'm here in 2021 not realizing this is 4 years old lol
True, things have got so so bad since this.
South Park is one of the best shows ever.
I can´t think of any other show that is on air that long and still that good.... and even better than it has ever been.
+Game Guy propably :)
+OPEN MIND South Park Fans müffeln doch alle...
+OPEN MIND Not only that good, but it gets better every time.
Yeah, I find it pretty dumb when people write it off as being a stupid show just because it's vulgar
+OPEN MIND Honestly it's one of the few ever shows that has gotten better with age. I like the more modern episodes with it's more obvious social commentary better than the early years where it was more or less just about being "Not PC"
So if I'm getting this right people use the shortcomings and disabilities of others to make themselves feel better and promote there own agenda without really doing something for the made victim.
And.. They don't realise it.
So there's no one to blame, no clear enemy.
That's what PC culture basically is.
Nowadays, it's hard to say who are PC and who really are a good person
Have you seen a modern feminist ever openly speaking about the horror of radical islam? No, they focus on "sexist video games" and "manspreading", because it's a) safe b) it sells
I absolutely laughed my ass off when Cartman said "Send in Jared"
It cuts perfectly
The fact that they can layer on this much nuanced satire while writing each episode in a matter of days is unqualified, unequalled genius.
Dang, this episode was dense. There a script anywhere?
You can find the transcript on our site!
its so dense every single image
has so much going on in it.

I’ve always appreciated South Park’s brilliantly multilayered plots and concepts, but video broke it down to a SCIENCE! I recognized most of the concepts in these mentioned episodes, but I never ever could have made connections between these episodes and actual spokesmen mentioning these identity politics. The subtlety of the show seems endless. 👏🏼🤯
It's really weird that a series hit their peak in the 19th fucking season
it hit it in season 3 and just never dropped
Scrub Lord Eh, 4's better
It's unfortunate that season 20 didn't seem to hit in a similar place as 19 tho.
zzzhuh same. i was reading some articles about it, apparently even the creators realized season 20 wasn't going well, and their finale was really bad... They did it on purpose in a way, the title of that episode is "The End of Serialization As We Know It" 'cuz it looks like they want to stop doing season-long stories, or something.

👍
You know it's bad when South park creates a character just to mock it over a season
Also, PC culture "being more about helping white liberals feel good" than helping actual minorities is perhaps the most viciously apt and accurate statement I've ever heard on the subject
Yeah I think the narrator/script writer was just a bit too apologetic toward "PC culture" by the end. You don't have to buy into "PC culture" to be mindful and empathetic towards others in your daily life and not be an asshole, it's an artificial concept unlike mindfulness, empathy, and not being an asshole.
Also, neoliberalism isn't about a free market being used to shape the world, but rather a highly controlled market. A free market would look very different (in some ways; in others, such as the ability to trade mostly freely, it'd look more similar) to what we all see and experience today. But in general this is a great video to help re-orient some misunderstandings about the show.
Not sure why everyone is hating on PC, I have always preferred it to Mac.
Agreed, fuck PC, Mac for life.
oh joke of the ages
afoadond
yuntu
+Dont Do it what if im a Mac thats PC?
Does that mean my names Mac who's PC, or a personal computer that's a mac?
At least Mac is stable.
So, basically what I'm getting from this is that people are confusing neoliberalism and progressivism, thinking they're one in the same, whether intentionally or not? Sounds about right.
More that Neoliberals have so much power they can co-op Progressivism for their own means if we let them. That part seemed pretty on the head. Although I think half the country just sees the 2 as the same thing.
"We've had a whole foods for three weeks and now we no longer need police." OMG, this isn't a story about South park (ie Fairplay, CO), but Boulder.

Oh I member!
“Political correctness is tyranny with manners” - Charleston Heston
Oof that’s a good one
That's a logical fallacy, let me dissociate the thought for you to shed light on its overgeneral nature. Being supportive and outspokenly sticking up for a marginalized individual/group of people doesn't necessarily implicate an overextravagantly prim and castigating demeanor towards everyone else (although a lot of pc people do in fact take criticizing the masses for their toxic attitudes and social behaviors conveyed to marginalized ppl too far, or at least can come off with a higher degree of chastising/coercivity to said masses than that of the vibe the pc person actually intended to communicate, but those people just aren't crafty enough with their word choice to be good SJWs. Anyways, I want to sum up by saying SJWs aren't the bad guys even tho some of their manifestations can be misguided- they aren't in it to just impugn and rebuke; they're speaking from their morally-incentivized passion to altruistically assert the promotion of self-believe and eternal fact of prevailing individual self-empowerment over any denunciating antagonist out of a fiery empathy for the straggler(s) who are in need of hope bc they are being oppressed/discriminate against
Benjamin Cantrell Jesus did you just come from a thesaurus convention. I get what you meant but it could have been said in like 2 sentences.

Bruce trans-Jenner is against gay marriage, I did not know that. Thank you, that is the funniest thing I have heard this week.
+Zacc He's a fucking man. I don't care what he thinks he is.
***** Why, thank you, sir!
He still has a penis.
Until society learns that sex and gender are 2 different things, you'll continue believing that a penis is what makes you a man. Science has already discovered that gender is rooted in our brains, not in our genitals or sexual orientation. Studies reveal that there is a cognitive link that determines which gender we're most aligned to & transgender people have been tested to show that there is a congenital dichotomy between their cognitive gender & their physical one.
+spitxfire99 funny how you say you don't care, yet you have such a strong opinion on caitlyn's gender. it has no effect on you either way, so why do you give a shit? fyi i think she's a shitty person, but, like i said, her transition from male to female is her choice so why not respect that instead of being a massive douche for no reason

I love south parks way of applying current events and trends to their show. it helps me keep up and it’s good to keep it interesting
"The thing about neoliberalism is that is neither new, nor liberal."
Noam Chomsky
Well since it began in the 80s it is relatively new compared to liberalism. But it's not liberalism at all
Noam Chomsky? The guy who would consider a society in which the government holds more power as more liberal?
spitxfire99 You obviously know nothing about Chomsky.
***** He's only written five books about it.
***** No, but perhaps it's time to admit that a guy who has written close to 100 books about philosophy, international policy, history of science and thought and political systems and economics may know a thing or two you don't.
This show is way smarter than it will probably ever get credit for.
Yeah, behind the jokes it really does have a lot going on and the social politics are a lot more complex than just "liberal" or "conservative" too.
the description of Zizek was to me the best part of the breakdown haha " Slovenian theorist/ curmudgeon mountain troll" great video and so on and so on...
This was way more insightful than I expected. Great work.
I really appreciated this season of South Park, because it brilliantly illustrated things I've been trying to express about PC culture for years much more elegantly than I ever could.
Watch Zizek then, he's all over youtube.
You can, it just takes time, willingness to learn, willingness to take honest, good-faith critical feedback sincerely, and practice.
Holy shit. Good vid on deciphering South Park's season 19. What a trip.
right like what the hell. way smarter than I am. Shit.
Yeah. This video made me like the season more than the first time I saw it, and it helped come to terms with the fact that South Park is serialized now and that's totally fine. (The one thing I can't get over, however, it the overuse of Randy).
Great video and in my opinion this season is the best piece of modern social commentary I’ve ever seen on tv
I swear everytime I finish a tv show I go straight to wisecrack to see if there is a video that breaks down the philosophy. Learning so much from these keep it up
Man, can't believe you get to make these. They are SO GOOD and i am SO GLAD to get to watch them. Seriously. Thanks for investing yourself in this.
South Park hit the nail on the head with this one. The show barely feels like a parody anymore. I legitimately felt like a good chunk of all this was realistically portrayed.

Kanye West: Yeah.
David Letterman: You're a gay fish. Also, I'm not gay.
Kanye West: All right, that does it! I'm gonna kick your motherfuckin' ass! [attacks Letterman]
I'm reading in the comments a lot of confusion about "neo-liberalism", this is an economic ideology, which is not the same as "liberals and conservatives" or left and right political views. The ideology of neo-liberalism actually tends a little more to the goals of the right wing but it has elements of both.
+Mr420Spy Not quiet, Neo-liberalism focus more on market solutions vs. government projects. Instead of using government intervention to fix problems, focus is instead pushed towards economic freedom to create a better economy. Not whether or not they are bought off. It's more of a group of people that believe in free market capitalism, while focusing on civil liberties in the Democratic party's view.
+walkin mn I facking love that you call liberals left wing. In most European countries I know (and the one I live in), the term left is used for socialist parties and the liberals are more right wing, or center parties. I don't know where you're from, but man when liberalism is the most progressive movement available, I do not envy you xD.
+Panic Pillow fack dude really
+Panic Pillow It's worth mentioning that the America liberal means progressive, and are at least somewhat left wing, and what you would call liberal, we call moderate libertarian.
+walkin mn Neo-Liberalism is the inevitable compromise between the State, The Individual & the Free Market.
Came here from the BBT video....but this video is excellent on many levels. New sub...thanks
Your explanation of gentrification was very concise and understandable. I’ve had a difficult time understanding the concept, but you made it very clear. Thank you very much
Never in recent memory has a video made me question I believe in... I believed that political correctness helps us transform into a more accepting society. Now I don't know if it's all just a sham to make ourselves feel better about ourselves.
I encourage you to continue to think about it. I got to a very liberal college, with many people adopting a PC lifestyle, where they continually strive to become activists in all things to escape the reality that they simply do not have the power to help anyone; at least, not at this point in their lives. At the moment of graduation, most college students are poor, jobless, and without a position of power. I think them donating 1$ to Whole Foods (so to speak), is how they feel powerful. I, myself, want to help people as much as I can, but I know that doing so starts with educating myself and forming a plan of actions--not living JUST off the desire I have to help, but realistically doing what I can to help when I can.
For example: I have an affinity for helping animals, and WHEN I have enough money to buy a car, and WHEN I have enough time, I know that I will attempt to donate as much time to helping animals at the humane society.
I think political correctness is making it worse in a sense. I don't know
Ninjanoodles78 I would highly recommend reading Marx and modern Marxist philosophers like Zizek who were referenced in the video. Obviously Trump and conservatives are cocksuckers, but the real disease on mankind is liberalism/neoliberalism; trying to monetize and capitalize on (very serious) issues like racism with shallow solutions like "diversity" without attacking the real issue of class division and poverty which is the root of societal ills like racism, sexism, etc. imho.
My friends are often confused when I attack Democrats and libs more than Republicans and Conservatives. It's easy to hate Republicans for their shitty beliefs, but it's harder to criticize Dems who work within the corporate capitalist system to make you feel good about yourself with bullshit policies that don't really help anyone. It's a large part of the reason Trump won. People want change from corporate, establishment politics. Even if that change might be dangerous.
basically neoliberalism is corporate sponsored communism, where the state owe everything to the corporations that have the right leftist or liberal politicians in their pockets, but use the same methods of thought control as Fahrenheit 451 or 1984 to drill Marxist and PC rhetoric into people's heads, such as forced multiculturalism and identity politics to turn people into what this video calls ads, reduced versions of ourselves used to serve the corporatocracey as they strip us of our wealth and basic worker's rights by reducing the role of trade unions.
Looks like I _really_ need to start watching South Park.

I remember a friend of mine went to a big poetry thing and had a big poem about how much capitalism sucks, and everyone cheered about how much they hate capitalism, then right afterwards they all went to mcdonalds to celebrate how much they hated capitalism. Unironically. EDIT. Okay kiddies. Lets get something clear. I'm not saying Capitalism is evil or whatever. I was just delivering an anecdote about how I've seen the ideas present in this video in real life. The idea of inter-passivity. And my real hatred of this event was due to the fact nobody was self-aware of it. Rather they hypocritically preformed actions while believing they were incorruptible idols of wisdom, not once laughing that they were being hypocrites.
+Christopher Smith This has to be one of the shittest argument I've ever seen.
+Hipster Stalin What do you mean. I wasn't really making an argument. More mentioning a anecdote that reminds me of the theme of the video.
I fucking love capitalism
Hollows Mom That's fine. I see a lot of perks to it. My problem is that when people say something such as "I hate capitalism" they shouldn't take part in what they preach against. Unless they actively know they're being hypocritical.
+Christopher Smith They are hypocritical in the exact same way any person trying to have a normal life in political or economical system they hate would be. You could argue the same thing for any person that hated the economical system of URSS and even North Korea or the world of 1984(he used the pen and paper that society provided for him to criticize the society that provided for it, how dare he).
Awesome video, love your work. Keep up the good work
7:52 If I remember correctly there's a passage in the Bible that says something to this effect: You can paint a tomb white but it does nothing about the contents, they still stink. John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Jesus & was His cousin, said "God can make children(& people in general)of Abraham worthy of Himself from the stones at your feet. Your good deeds are filthy rags to God."
Most underrated season of anything ever. Wow, at 19 years, to come out with this? Matt and Tre have amazing range.
As an immigrant from South Korea, I completely agree with the superficiality of multiculturalism in America. Upon arrival to the US, I was immediately expected to assume an identity laid out for me for easy identification. I was expected to be math-oriented, docile/subordinated, physically/politically conservative, and "Confucian" (I have never even touched Confucian classics nor was I requested to). How this has to do with actual multiculturalism that celebrates real cultural values and practices of South Korea that goes beyond stereotypes was always a wonder me.
+BeTheFirst It's the polarizing nature of America. You have to stay in your "camp", or you confuse people. You can be anything you want, so long as you don't do anything unexpected. Or then they will celebrate you for doing something unexpected, and then let it be your sole identity.
I have a similar story. I came to America from Nigeria, I was very young when I immigrated so I never had a Nigerian accent like my parents and older sister. I also had sickle cell so I wasn't good at sports at all. When we finally moved from the projects to the suburbs which was mostly white, I was always called "the whitest black kid ever" because I wasn't a stereotypical African. It pissed me off because my parents worked hard to raise me well to not join gangs like some of my friends did, and they worked 3 jobs and went to school so I can get a better opportunity just to be called "the whitest black kid". But kids will be kids I guess lol.
+BeTheFirst liberals like to think they are more intelligent than those around them (especially minorities or immigrants) and know what is best for others when in reality they cannot handle someone thinking for themselves or in ways that deviate from their predetermined notions of what they assume the person
should be thinking about and how they should react and whom they should vote for....
Scott Mantooth I'm not sure this is something strictly bound to partisanship. There's plenty of prejudice on either side.
The difference mostly is that generally the left is patronizing, where the right is antagonistic.
Snobby Gamer brilliantly said...few on either side are actually interested in real solutions but need the other to be the villain and the source of all the problems of the day... they have a carefully orchestrated dance and prescripted narrative to maintain a delicate illusion of balance...very cynical of both of them
Nice transition into the ad at the end of the video. I actually watched it this time!

It's about thinking on how and why we do what we do.
Whenever you query something for learning more about it, you're doing either science or philosophy (or digesting a ready-made version of one or the other).
+National Security Agency and I am guessing you have read platos works eh?
Jesus, Wisecrack...this is how you make a well-researched, well thought out video. Zero fluff, all substance. Well done. Give everyone involved a raise. We more more logical in-depth breakdowns like this.
Thank you for making this video, you're right on point!
What makes South Park the greatest show on Earth is the fact that it STILL triggers people like crazy. It's been twenty years and they still know how to bring the butthurt! This show is truly my religion.
+Dustin Pelc Amen
this season was making fun of people like you
+Dustin Pelc
Because there is nothing people hate more than being shown what they are
Niobium How so?
Niobium Along with everyone and everything else. I don't feel the least bit isolated knowing that either :-D

Wow, what an amazing breakdown. For the most part, I got it but you shon a light on a few things that slipped under the radar. Just as I was showing this series to my nephew in a bid to explain to him what is up.
Could not have said it better. Always enjoy the vids Wisecrack
No, they're not going PC,and they're not going to sell out. People will watch South Park because it's the farthest away from being politically correct. That has and always will be one of its greatest hooks. Especially now in this day in age, people want a break from all this cowardly bullshit, and South Park is one of the only shows to never give in.
Except on the subject of Muhammad.
+Ezeckel Reichert i thought they did a three parter about that
+Ezeckel Reichert can't blame them for wanting to live
South Park is one of the shows that least needs to advertise or sell out to advertisers. They let anyone watch their whole show for free because that's how good it is and that's how many fans it has
they already had shown muhammad twice, right?
matt stone and trey parker may be the cleverest men alive
+BerserkChimp *most clever
***** you're missing the point
+Ryan Tepper Not only are you missing the point, you didn't even correct properly. Cleverest is the superlative adjective of clever, which is the more concise way of saying "most clever."
Nothing To It oh chill the fuck out, theres not really a point to miss with his one sentence comment. i thought the responses would be funner then this
The correct term is attack helicopters you transphobe.
when he brought up zizek i heard the sniffles instantly
Well done. Nice analysis.
The writers at South Park are geniuses
I really love how much you guys refer to Zizek. He's my favorite political philosopher right now
Excellent job! Couldn't have been a better breakdown of both the season and our current culture.
This was so eloquently explained. 10/10
No, PC culture is not about individuals at all, its about collectivism, it's about forcing everyone into pigeonhole category or label and directing your actions and making you feel guilty about yourself so you'll buy things. PC says things like race and gender inherently means you are either privileged or disadvantaged and you can't decide what it means to you individually because it "affects others."
+StarwarsCafe the video, as well as south park is not speaking out against pc culture (although it does poke fun at it a lot). It is speaking out against a much more dangerous force that wisecrack define as neo liberalism. the reason neo liberalism (or authoritarian capitalism as I call it) is so dangerous is because it absorbs all messages, be they pc, anti pc, or even in opposition to neo liberalism itself through sponsorship.
If you weren't actually paying attention the central antagonist for this season is not pc principle, but ads. Pc and those who espouse it are dangerous, yes, however they are merely useful fools unaware they are serving a more devious purpose. who is benefiting when a pundit or a journalist on either side of the pc fence makes a video or article? who is benefiting while we bicker about stupid made up social issues like gay marriage, or the "wage gap". who is benefiting to the constant drama and the and the gossip as the gap between the the poor and the middle class gets closer and closer together as the gap between the middle class and the rich get wider apart? the answer to all of these questions is the corporations.
they control our politics through sponsorship, they control our media through sponsorship, and soon they will control our speech through sponsorship. it is a terrifying reality that is coming to fruition due to our inability to control the corporate monsters we have created. even this video and its message has already succumbed to it.
you can speak out against the system all you want, just as long as you do it on their dime.
+StarwarsCafe Actually PC culture has devised a bizarre balance between collectivism and hyper-individuality, inventing 750 different genders so special snowflakes can feel both unique and that they fit in at the same time. "There is no one else like me, but don't you dare say I'm not normal."
+Palace Of Wisdom Well it's a way of using words like "identity" and "freedom" as a means to dictate what they mean.
+- LollipopSunder - Yeah the video itself is suffering from PC- they are actually making a case that Southpark, a show and movie franchise built on joyfully crossing the line of political correctness, often simply to do it, would have us believe that the main message of this season is that the influence of PC culture is good. I think when they double down on equal rights, that is incorrectly seen as promoting Political correctness. The video also can't decide what it wants Southpark's philosophy to be. On one hand it says the creators are libertarian, on the other, it says that they are criticizing the free market and individual liberties, which I think the video incorrectly gives as a rough definition for neo-liberalism, because that's essentially what libertarians believe in: free market and individual liberty. PC culture just uses that language to hide totalitarian messages.
+Stagetail It's not about that, it's about using that identity to control the speech and feelings of others. Political correctness is more often used as a way to dress up some racist or sexist idea as looking nice by claiming it is a solution to racism and sexism and that anyone who disagrees is a bigot because they hate people the idea "defends." Which of course is the height of strawman fallacies.
Conservabro here. At the beginning of this, I thought I was going to get an indictment of capitalism. Instead, I got a perfect explanation of what's wrong with SJWs. Thank you, Wisecrack. I'm glad I stuck through the video.
***** SJWs are one end of the spectrum and the alt-right are the other end. Everyone picks on the alt-right, but not enough people pick on the SJWs.
*****
You sound insane. I feel like I'm reading the words of a loon. I mean, do you want me to counter your points? I get the feeling you'd just compare me to Hitler.
+Jodgee Spoiler alert: She does
Big T. Larrity
..new? We've been around since long before hipsters, buddy.
***** For starters, you don't seem to understand what an SJW is. It's not about being left-wing or obsessed with identity politics. It's about being both of those things while lacking the integrative complexity to understand that you're not necessarily the hero of the story. Sure, everyone believes they're the hero of their own story, but SJWs make that literal. They think because they're the good guys and Trump is the bad guy, it's okay for them to beat up his supporters because they're just Nazis! You can even see this in their rhetoric, using phrases like "the wrong side of history." How arrogant do you have to be to believe you can predict the future? You don't know how history's going to turn out.
"Of course there are extremists but even then, the worst thing is that they just want everyone to be equal and fair since that's what being left is all about."
What you've just said implies that the ends can justify the means, which is never true. The ends never justify the means. I cannot think of a single time they have. Your belief that the ends justify the means fits in with everything I've just said. Furthermore, what the left calls "equal and fair" is often just authoritarianism with a new coat of paint. I don't want equality of outcome. I want equality of opportunity. People who want equality of outcome don't actually want things to be fair. They want certain groups to be given advantages.
Take affirmative action, for example. If a specific affirmative action policy leads to a black man being hired over a white man with the same qualifications, that's fine, because if they had the same qualifications, then it was already a toss-up. However, if the black man is underqualified, but he gets the job anyway because he's black, that is evil. You, however, would probably consider it justified, because "fair and equal" means equality of outcome to you. And believe me, that happens a lot, even if it goes against your narrative.
South park season 19 was so great and nice video man :]
Dude....this is a very very great work
The irony of the ad at the end really made me cringe...
Brilliant. This is why I subscribed to Wisecrack. I've been sleeping on South Park for a while now but Im defiantly gonna check this season out. This was soooo good. Society is such in a weird place right now...
+Bad-Jet! *American society, other cultures have their own problems to deal with right now
+Bad-Jet! Yeah PC is ruining comedy. We've even had pressure from our audience with our content we produce on our channel to be more PC. This past season of SP was decent. It had it's ups and downs. You'll be happy you watched
+Shidam!
Last 2 episodes weren't funny at all, they were just thrown together to try to wrap up the season plot.
+Bad-Jet! You're defiantly checking it out? Who are you defying if you watch it? Fight the power!
Seb Lee Wow I never thought it about it like that. You are like, sooooo deep. THANKS MISTER!
Exceptionally well struck. Thank you
Amazing video! Just discovered, now subscribed! Awesome stuff!!!!
I freaking love this channel.
I'm glad I found it.
me too. every single thought and conclusion about our modern society is confirmed here.
also: /)
It makes me wonder if and how society can be fixed. It tossed me into a really depressed mood for like a day ,_,
by being smart and not buying into all these stupid commercials and conformity. just like how donald trump was elected
I've kinda been doing that for a while now.
Yet it doesn't do any visible good. It just makes look all closed off and angsty. -_-
But I guess It can't be helped. \
the important thing is to know whats good for you. not based off shitty commercials ads and peer pressure. but based off what you actually like and gets to you feel better
There is nothing like South Park. I've always loved the way they criticize our society with that amazing sense of humor.
This is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen
Great video... Have always thought this but never articulated it as well as you did
Man what a fucked up world this has turned into!!
We have turned it into, dont blame the world, blame us.
+Roiben100 Why would I blame the world?? The world can't fuck itself up!! People are responsible for it!! What a fucked world where I have to worry about some sick fucking pediphile pretending to be a gay guy gets to go and stare at my little girl or boy as they use the bathroom. I have no problem with gays. But fuck man, where does it stop?!?!?
I feel like the world has always been fucked up it's just a new type of fucked up now.
+hinata167 That's a valid point, but it's definitely MORE fucked up and fucked up in a very scary way now.
+That'sTooTenno ForYou Whatever u think brother. Your opinion of me matters to me about as much as I give a shit if what little brains u have start seeping out your ears.
Damn. who knew a season of a show about foul-mouthed 4th graders would be so damn thought provoking
The internet.
it has been since the first season mate.
You never notice it? Why do you even watch it then?
NomeInvalido It's called a fucking joke, the show uses it a lot. I'm just saying it's kind of funny how a show with this premise got to be so thought provoking
Watch the Hidden Meaning in South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut video. It's just as good as this. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are geniuses, but use it to make cartoons rather than research studies and such. XD
amazingly deep and accurate analysis
great analysis
