Slim, I just purchased a lazy days RV I’ve been Boondocking for about six weeks hassled by security and The man. What an experience! And yet I am a very fortunate man I have my home on wheels and it’s nice. I plan on hitting all 48 states in the contiguous United States. Watching your video is an inspiration for me. Slim- this was a magnificent video. Your appreciation for your environment combined with your storytelling skills and videography/photography was at its best. The music...everything. I loved the mud patterns!!! And I seriously would purchase a copy of that 3rd still photograph at the end. Can I?

Some of the most interesting stuff in the desert areas of the western US are right at your feet. While dry camping near Quartzite AZ, I was poking around near my tent camper and found a flat rock about the size of a small cookie embedded at eye level in saguaro cactus. How fascinating that before I arrived, who knows how long ago, the winds had blown hard enough to pick that rock up and fling it hard enough to stick it in that tough old cactus hide.
It's no exaggeration to say you are an artist. Your videos are always fascinating. I love them.

Another great video. While I appreciate all the tips/tricks/gear videos online, you are my favorite "storyteller" on CZcams. You obviously put a lot of passion into creating scripts, setting scenes, and shaping a narrative. I give presentations for a living (avoiding Death By Powerpoint), I storyboard my slides with images like a movie vs. filling the screen with words. Since the human person is hardwired for story, I've learned that's what really helps people remember your content - when images connect head and heart. I hit the road part-time with my rescu-er Bella in a Promaster City with a Wayfarer Van conversion. I was just in Valley of Fire and Gold Butte a couple of weeks ago. Still nippy, but perfect weather for hiking. I camped in Virgin River and Valley of Fire. I stopped at Poverty Flats along the way, but it was way too windy up there at the time.
