I have a vivid memory of being a young kid at a buddy's house, and the neighbors kid ran out and said "yo you guys gotta come in here and see this" and his brother was playing ncaa 13 or 14 and had scored almost 200 points and something popped up on the screen that said something like "you can't score anymore points or the game is going to crash". Legendary
They have the Iowa wave to the kids at the end of the first quarter, one of the greatest New traditions in college football!!

You were a huge part of my childhood. I remember watching you back when you were doing the UTSA dynasty. So excited for this game and to see you start another dynasty again 11 years later.

Same I did UTSA because of him lol North Texas is probably my favorite small school because they have a better location in Dallas where you can get pure athletes easier so I'm probably gonna start with them again and get them to the Big 12

I tbhnk what makes the College Football games so fun is the massive discrepancy between teams. In Madden the worst team is still filled with low to mid 80 rated players. While the worst teams in NCAA/College Football have ratings in the mid 50s to early 60s meaning games could easily become blowouts,either if you aren't careful while controlling the team,or if your that ruthless when controlling the opponent.
I’m not too worried about the transfer portal in particular being in the game as EA can draw their experience from how players transfer in FIFA. The window logic and constant movement is similar
Good point! I'm not familiar at all with FIFAs features, but they do borrow a lot between games.
@@MrHurriicane essentially there are two transfer windows: one for two months in the summer, and one in January for the whole month. Any player can move for a fee if a team agrees AND the player agrees, and many players have release clauses that force the team to agree. Additionally, some players will have contracts expiring in the next window(usually summer, some leagues are winter/summer only leagues), so you can actually sign a player from another team to a contract that starts in the next window upon expiration of the contract with their current team. You can also send players out on loan either with or without the option to buy, or even mandating that they must buy the player at the end of the loan.
Free agency does exist in the game but very few players in real life are free agents, so usually free agency in fifa is a bit cheese where players are included who in real life are at a club that just isn’t in the game so it is kind of cheating, and very few players in game opt to become free agents.

If the coaching carousel comes back, we need to watch the rise of Leon Daniels as a lowly coordinator to a legendary head coach.
Coaching carousel was one of the best implementations they did. It's not even a thing in Madden but in NCAA it was meaningful. I used to work my way up as a coordinator until I got the job I wanted, and we should lose good coordinators to HC jobs every few years. Make them have various boost that each coach is different and movement should be a real thing

So glad to see team builder back. Did not think EA would do that again for the reintroduction of the series. Will do a dynasty with my Alma mater UNC Pembroke, which is like division 3 in real life. But as for in-game teams, I can’t decide if I wanna take East Carolina to the championship again like I did in previous games, or go along with either App State or Coastal Carolina. Trying to be a running back for ECU who were air raid was such a fun challenge for me.

The devs that make Madden made this game. Just like the older ones. I would say hopefully that on the college side the developers are able to go all out unlike Madden.

@krisbryant7100 I hope the lack of a NCAA governing body over the game will help make it the shiznit. Madden tends to be limited because of the NFL's stipulations.
If I had to guess, composure is probably linked to players' on field experience. So underclassmen and bottom of the depth chart guys who don't play much would have a higher chance of messing up during road/rivalry games. Their ratings may be more drastically affected than upperclassmen and normal starters. There was something like this on the PS2.

Cane idk if you have this in mind (you probably do lol) but since the final season of Kalispel was 2025 it would be cool to see you pick up from there.
Loving the info but I definitely have a few things I wish to put my opinion on.
A little worried about Dynasty save transfers to Madden, I feel that would be an easy mention but not mention at all. I hope its possible because imo that would be a big bummer. Also since it seems like this game will not be on PC and saves can be transferred I will likely get Madden on PC (for mods), hope that transferring to PC version of madden is still possible hopefully quick and easy or even a easy mod. If so I'll take it.
I feel Pre-Snap Recognition may be for the Wear & Tear/Substitution system. Maybe you can get a quick overview of how players are feeling and stuff like that in your current situation and that way you can choose to keep or Substitute them? That would be neat.
Transfer Portal could work if a lot of players had the tags from madden to determine personality traits or how they feel about the team or college they are at. And you can convince them to stay by making promises or completing certain goals to make them happier to make it less likely that they will leave.
I hope recruting goes back to how 12 does it and is built on. I started play 14 for the fiest time like last year and I barely care about recruiting because like, its just throwin in points. I'm not engaged. But you have to be engaged and come back to players weekly in 12 making you get more invested in that player and getting them on your team.
I kinda hope they have a file share system like Madden does where yiu can update/make your own rosters and such so that if someone was VERY VERY dedicated they could make a whole season roster from like 20 to 30 years ago for most teams and maybe even be able to put in a lot of real life recruits from that time so that you can change Football history by those players ending up in different teams.
Im with you cane, this game shouldn't strive to only be as good as NCAA 14, it is 11 years later, that should be the expectation
obviously, you're going to do a team builder with Kalispell, but will you do a sim series for NCAA College Football 25 like the Raiders if it's possible? I think it'd be cool, but you may have too much content to make with 2 series in madden, team builder, and plus MLB.

So with your latest dynasty being a return to UTSA in revamped could we see a return to the Gophers in 25?
The problem with recruiting in 2014 was that it was quick but too easy. In 13, it took too long and was monotonous, so you have to find the balance. I think they should go back to the calling feature but streamline it. You can pitch your school but only on the 5 motivations (play time, stadium atmosphere, conference prestige, tv time, pro potential, school prestige, academic prestige etc) the recruit has so if you do 30 mins you pitch the three best motivations that your school is rated in but only the one's in the recruits motivations can be pitched and maybe the best thing your school is rated in outside of the motivations. Based on those motivations, you get points into that recruit and based on how good you are as a recruiter, recruit and coach personality or mood, staff contributions, offensive/defensive scheme you play, whether you came off a win or a loss, you might get positive or negative multipliers to those points to make the points fluctuate more from week to week. There would also be other factors in a players motivations such as Dream School (have to be 4 star prestige or higher to qualify) so dream schools would get extra points, and rivals of that dream school would get minus points or be locked out. Also, dual sport athletes exist so maybe each team could have prestige in other sports such as basketball, baseball, athletics, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer so that if a recruit was a dual sport athlete, they might like your school if you have a high prestige or reject your school because you have low prestige or don't offer that sport. We could also have a money motivation also for NIL deals. Some recruits may want money, some may only want a full scholarship, some might not care about money and depending on how they view money could positively or negatively impact your points if you offer them money. You could also have a rating for "football importance" for the school. Like Duke are more invested in basketball than football, so they might get less funding for NIL budgets, coaching budgets, scholarships allowed for football and if you want to build a new stadium this comes with positives and negative like budget gets cut but stadium atmosphere will increase once it's done.

I’m good with any revamped dynasty series but a brand new one would be something I’d personally like to see more. You can create the stadiums and whatever for the previous teams still and still do all of that but maybe a new one too?

Obviously the biggest thing we still haven’t seen is probably the most important aspect of the game (the actual gameplay) but with how much EA is actually investing into this game, it would be very hard to imagine they don’t try to make gameplay good

I hope they let us adjust the playoffs and conferences and the amount of conferences. On ncaa 14 all I’d want is to make super conferences. Now all I want is to eliminate superconferences and playoffs

I'm liking it so far I'm old school I've been waiting on this Day since they took it all away..I hope they add in players awards and stats as well as injuries into player profiles going into Madden25..It would to the boom and Bust system.
The wear and tear sounds like progressive fatigue in Madden which I have come to like. Makes having depth at a position matter more.
