If Cuphead and Mugman were pets in an adoption game, then maybe they would make it mandatory to adopt them together and you can’t split them up.

Ok since many people are asking how each is captured this is how it is:
Astral Cookie Charm not equipped-Ms. Chalice captured
Astral Cookie Charm equipped (Cuphead)-Cuphead captured
Astral Cookie Charm equipped (Mugman)-Mugman captured
But how'd you get mugman
@@wubber_dubber Mugman is unlocked since the beginning like his older brother. For playing as him, you have to choose the head on the right. The left head is the head of Cuphead, who’s Mugman’s older twin brother.

I got betrayed by a character from FNAF, a character from Henry Stickmin, a character from Splatoon 2 (DLC only!) and *NOW* by our « ally » in Cuphead! C’on, pals! Get everyone out of here!
@@Superemie401 i remember the splatoon 2 dlc, it took me 80 tries to defeat Agent 3 and 99 to defeat tartar, reason why is because i 1. Kept accidentally falling into the water and 2. I ran out of time twice trying to reach the final hyperbomb.

Can you publish them all playing at the same time. Also in the fight the background is different based on who was kidnapped
The captured one will see the others characters fighting Saltbaker during all the phases, expect phase 2. However, it’s hard to see him/her in the fourth phase, but he/she is really present.

For Chalice i use a sort of western voice
For Good Chef Saltbaker i use my normal voice again just sus

I would say the Ms. Chalice ending is cannon, but that's okay too.
Everyone has their opinions. Me, I more think the Mugman ending is canon, because the scream before the fight seems to better work with Mugman than with someone else. Why they didn’t changed the scream in function who’s kidnapped, actually?

The logic in a nutshell:
Saltbaker: Mrs.Chalice needs it the most.
Also Saltbaker: Kidnap Mrs.Chalice.
Cuphead and Mugman: *Confused cup sounds.*

It’s impossible. When you go in the DLC for the first time, you get the cookie for the rest of the game. However, if Cuphead and Mugman don’t use it as the charm, Mrs.Chalice will be captured. If one of the boys use it, the boy in question will be kidnapped instead.

No, you need equip the cookie charm in Cuphead, Mugman or Chalice, if you don't equip it, the game will always choose Chalice.
Fact: If you equip the cookie charm, you’ll be in the map as Cuphead/Mugman and in the battle as Mrs.Chalice. The boy who’ll be captured is the same as the one you play as when you’re not in a battle.
