They always say slip on mufflers don’t require a tune but, it does help to not have a lean condition because you are flowing more air , which now requires more fuel, if you want optimum and correct air/fuel mixture. Especially because, a stock motorcycle comes tuned slightly on the lean side anyways from the factory, due to epa pressure on the manufacturer!
