In China, you have to overload, but this means you will be fined by the road traffic supervision department, but even with a fine, there is still a high profit, if you don't overload, you will not be able to pay the gas bill and have no money to pay the car loan , usually such a truck driver needs 2-3 years of operation to repay the loan. So overloading, a key problem is that the design load of the car is actually much higher than the standard load, because the road tax and transportation fee of the car are charged according to your standard tonnage, so your standard load is small, which means that you can Pay less tax. So reinforced the car, this can be more profitable compared to the equivalent car, in China almost all trucks are overloaded, but there seems to be no problem, because the working life of a truck is also 6-10 years, so To be used quickly. Then eliminated.

Living or Dead? Australian authorities had a case back in c1995. A T series Scania loaded out of Mt. Gambier with railway steel. According to the Inspector that caught the truck, the truck had 3 full rows across the trailer of 12.5 metre heavy weight rail, then, on top of that, there was 20 pallets of plates, spikes and joiners in 205 litre drums.
To give an idea of the weight involved: 80 drums of small railway steel, at say, 650 kg per drum = 52 tonne. Then, below that, he had 3 rows across of the heavy rail, so call that another 60 tonne. So, 112 tonne payload on the trailer, plus a tare weight of say 18 tonne... 130 tonne.
Highway patrol stopped the truck just out of Mt. Gambier, but were called to a serious vehicle accident. Driver was directed to stay put, which he ignored. Was caught up with near Pinnaroo, and taken to the weigh slab north of Pinnaroo, and weighed on the portables, which the truck proceeded to destroy! Haennis that were used have a capacity of 10 tonne each pad. Inspector had to write the driver up for being in excess of 40 tonne on the drive group, and 60 tonne on the triaxle group.

I'm a FAW truck user from Indonesia.
I think Chinese trucks are over speck, the power is too big for a light class truck.
But for heavy duty trucks, it's very satisfying, especially the double trailer with a load of 150 tonnes type JH6.
The price is much cheaper when compared to my truck from European brands, payload can be much more and can fit heavier.
It's just that used prices are much cheaper, and spare parts are hard to find.
You've to wait a long time if you order spare parts, because they are not sold freely like Japanese and European trucks.

Some provincial trucks running the mountains also do the wet drum braking. A hose runs to each drums and dumps water on it. These cooling method can be added on new trucks. The drum types are the best for this type of cooling method. Even local built buses use these. When they stop, the drip water and produces steam much like a rail locomotive. Its still in use on the Toledo - Cebu city bus routes.

This is mildly unbelievable with That much weight above the the middle of the trailer the centre of gravity would be terrible and road deformation also would be pbad yet they don't move around much .... And if they did it would brake something.
Also I gotta assume the tyres are 99% filled with water as it won't compress and take longer to heat up, 15 bar in tyres is extreme,
my naiveity doesn't believe you could also normally compress air to 15 bar,
    So it's a liquid

    • @truckfan26163

If tyres are filled with water and won't compress, then there will be more challenge to suspension system and truck frame. deformation of tyres and leaf spring are supposed to absorb shocking to protect frames.
at about 30 seconds, I pointed the water tank, that's not only cooling brake system but also tyres and wheel side.
by the way, maybe you can see water in tyres in some video of my channel, that's not for loading. the reason they fill water is add more weigh to achieve the weigh criterion for vehicle registration
