The main thing that requires you to NEED good personal credit, is if the lender requires the guarantor be you and not your business. Depending on how long you have been in business, how your business credit score looks (which is a completely different calculation than your personal score), and even the amount you are seeking as a line of credit is, these are all factors that come into what they're going to require of you to get approved.
