For anyone considering buying this machine, if you are
accustomed to a commercial gym (aka hammer strength etc) the angles and
planes of movement take a little getting used to, Ive found that
sometimes propping the bench vs adding extra height via the bench
adjustment helps remedy this. Also, get yourself a few lengths of heavy
duty chains about 8 feet in length. If you wrap them around between the lat pulldown handles, you can attach many handles grips etc using
carabiner clips to allow custom placement that doesn't slide mid set.
This setup is also very friendly for adding resistance bands for a
dynamic curve. Also, for close grip bench, I slide a cut length of steel pipe over one handle, slide it all the way over, then put the other handle in, and center it, works great for me.

freakin' awesome showcase of this piece of equipment but I am terribly afraid for this man's overhead press form...the weight should never venture behind the body's center as this risks loss of control for the shoulder muscles and an array of supporting tissues for that muscle group. This coming from a rotary-cuff surgery recipient. I'd hate to see somebody else damage their body.

+Hip-Hop Homework You can do behind the head or in front. Or is there new science?

if you ask a physical therapist you always want to keep it in front of you because the greatest control will be there. People train behind the head and some people never experience injury...but the longer you train, you'll prolly discover for yourself there's really no additional benefit to going behind the head so why do it?? When I was rehab'ing my shoulder, they told me to stop doing pull ups behind the head as well because of the torque it can put on your rotator cuff, it makes sense when you think about it from a purely biomechanical perspective.

not a bad machine but there is better out there for the money. had this product for 6yrs and got rid of it. lot of the movements were just not right. the chess press is a right off. lat pull down nice but no option for close grip. curl machine dose not seem right 10lbs feels like 50lbs . squat machine makes you bend forward when squatting which you don't want. calf part of this system if far the best.

if room is not a problem grab a full or a half rack. power blocks dumbbells. a corner function traner. for a multi gym I would go with body solid bi angular. don't limited your self to that one but them model do not take up too much room but try to buy the bi angular movement ones. Note buy them used people that tend to spend that type of money on them seem to busy to use them. I bought an older version to that multi gym with a leg press for 350. try to insure when buying stack gym that they are over 200 lbs or can be upgraded.
