A truly beautiful lady, inside & out. I've read a biography of her amazing life. It always seemed to me that even from such a young age, her life had been tinged with sorrow and saddness. Her experiences and memories of the War impacted her so deeply and she carried them through life. It is unfathomable to me what it must have been like growing up during such formative years with the tragic horrors of war. There was a time when Hollywood was something to be proud of . I see these "shorts" of hero actors who didn't think twice about serving their country , and now I learn about Audrey Hepburn . I am very proud of these Americans , and very thankful.
Let me assume most actors today differ from you politically. I try not to paint people with a broad brush. It is getting harder to do that these days with how divided our country is.
Not only was she a graceful dancer and actress but she was a woman who fought for the rights of others no matter of race or religion. The most profound memories I have of her, as a kid and teen is how she as how she fought for children and hunger . I see commercials of her pleading to others and the UN to help the children

I get so emotional looking at her. You can see the same constant soul behind her eyes no matter what age she was. A once in a generation gem that I wish my generation in gen z could look at more as an inspiration compared to the celebrities and tik tok influencers we have now
We did a longer video on her and other heroes: czcams.com/video/9IV0ti6LYWs/video.html
I saw the movie about her childhood. She was a very brave young girl. God bless her for her courage, determination and dedication to help the allies during the war.
Amen
Well I didn't know that. What a brave woman.
Doesn't seem too all that brave like she said. Who was really brave would be Sophie Scholl

Very true. 😢
I have been in love with Audrey since I was a young teen. I saw her in Sabrina and then had to see everything else that she acted in. A true classic beauty. And I knew there was something special about her beyond her acting and beauty. It's taken all these year a to learn what we all learn in this video. A wonderful talented and brave woman.
Same!
As a young boy I fell in love with Audrey Hepburn (as millions of others did), and that has never changed through my whole life. There was just something about her besides her obvious beauty. She was always doing something for others. After seeing this, I know why. ❤
Same!
More balls than John Wayne.

She was truly an unsung hero. RIP.

Ms Audry is symbolic of every resistance fighter. We known her name and her face, but there were many thousands who each did their bit, many dying in anonymity. Her's is their face and she always said that.

Contrast that to Hollywood now.

You've apparently have not read the books "Hollywood Babylon" and "Hollywood Babylon II". Hollywood has ALWAYS been like they are right now, they just hid it better. Also, since WWII, there has not been an 'honorable' war that the US has engaged in. They have all been "dirty little wars". GI Joe used to be admired the world over as a liberator, not so much today, today we are the oppressors. "Beware the military-industrial complex...." -Ike Eisenhower

Amazing woman
Such a brave, beautiful woman. So glad she survived those horrific years. ❤
There was a time when Hollywood was something to be proud of . I see these "shorts" of hero actors who didn't think twice about serving their country , and now I learn about Audrey Hepburn . I am very proud of these Americans , and very thankful.
Yes. I didn't know my father was a B17 gunner in the Pacific till after he died.

There are many in Hollywood today who give of their time and money to help those less fortunate. I am proud of those Americans too.
Hollywood was always a shitty places, but the actors themselves were a better type of person than today.
Let me assume most actors today differ from you politically. I try not to paint people with a broad brush.
It is getting harder to do that these days with how divided our country is.
Hard to beleive that the Epitome of grace and elegance was a real life Wonder Woman!!😮😅😊
Yes!
Not only was she a graceful dancer and actress but she was a woman who fought for the rights of others no matter of race or religion. The most profound memories I have of her, as a kid and teen is how she as how she fought for children and hunger . I see commercials of her pleading to others and the UN to help the children
Amen
A super person who had genuine class and style.

We have a local woman who was a girl in the Netherlands during the war. Always at Veterans Day events.
During our Honor Flights she would come to the gathering and thank every veteran and shake their hand- not explaining why she did it
I told the veteran I was assigned to, what her background was.
Wow♥️♥️
BEAUTIFUL STORY!
Thanks for sharing it…🙏🏽❤️😘🥰
♥️♥️♥️
One of the most beautiful heroes ever.
Amen
