These young ladies witnessed the horrors of some of the most brutal POW camps ever. I couldnt imagine the nightmares these ladies had while trying to take care of soldiers that looked more dead than alive. A huge thank you to all the females that served in all branches.

My Mom Married a Man for 56 years. They had 3 sons and each of us asked to be The Best Man at our weddings. He married the prettiest girl in the world. She always told me "to take Good care" She was always crying when she stopped holding my hand.
I’m sure the military nurses who volunteered for duty out of love for their country and to serve the soldiers in war. I also believe once there and witnessing the horrors of war, to endure and carry on, they served a higher power.
