I think the fight is just a damage race. You don't need to break the parts to progress.

yeah you dont, breaking parts does only give you more materials but everyone loves to pull info out of his a** in this community without doing testing
@@IDeVaste To be fair, the NPCs explicitly tell you to break parts as much as possible. But I suppose if the Hunter's Notes is full of lies, the NPCs are too XD
Supposedly breaking parts extends the amount of time she stays in the area. That is something I have heard, but haven't tested.
Breaking the horns effectively doubles the amount of carves you get so I’d say at least that part break is pretty essential.
Dont you do more damage to broken areas, or not? Either way wounding with the clutch claw is still viable so it's not like we cant spam that

The new MR Kulve Taroth armor ain’t bad, I’m using it as a comfy set just not with wide range.

Old video, but since she's coming back soon hopefully some players will see this. PLEASE do not kick out players out of the quest because their MR isn't above 100. Doing MR quests doesn't grant MR exp so you cannot know how experienced the player ACTUALLY is. It is your right to kick people out but I just had to say it after struggling for half an hour just to join 1 quest succesfully. Jamie Cunningham agreed, we get to meld safi weapons for materials so why not KT? Guess it could make the MR KT less relevant but it would be nice.

Question as a new player, does kulve tarroth weapons mean I shouldn't bother with waiting for Safi to be ready? Can I play the quest with the gear I used against kushala/ pre Kirin to start Safi quest?
Thankful for this guide, I kinda just went in and ran around blind while a team pretty much carried my pleb ass.
I feel like youtubers need to talk to each other when stuff like this comes out, some people are saying it’s only damage based, others are saying you need part breaker. A lot of misinformation. Also, I look up and dodge the lava when it falls from the ceiling. Makes it easier. P.s. You might be right about part breaker I really don’t know haha

I think breaking her parts gives you a few more minutes to kill her, just so you don't need to be as flawless with your dps. i never figured that out 'cause I tenderize her chest and arms before slamming her into the wall. instant break.

I’ve been farming MR Kulve and only using the melding process to get the Kíjar Glaive “Ice.” I’ve been doing this for 2 months and I keep get PARALYSIS GLAIVES. I’M GOING INSANE
Only started doing Kulve with the current iteration of the event, and I actually got the Ice glaive very early on - incredibly happy with that, as it gave me an excuse to pick up the IG and start getting into it. Wish I could've given it to you, though, as what I was going for is the ice charge blade. Guess I need to keep farming!

My kjarr strongarm ice has impact phial, hidden element, and no crit element
Been a while since I played, I forgot the MR version is an actual quest not the siege thing.
You can meld high rank kulve weapons with HR if you have any left over AND MR Kulve parts at the melder after defeating MR Kulve, so defeating HR Kulve isn't the only option, also, for those of you that haven't encounted high rank Kulve, for the pendants, they are unlocked but not available to you until you defeat AT Kulve, you don't actually GET the pendants however until you slay Master Rank Kulve, so if you are missing the Kjarr Pendant, you have to go back to the HR AT Kulve siege and defeat her once.

No, I already tested it and use it several times, and it works, try it. Instead of just dodging her attack, now I can just tenderize its head and do damage, its very useful for soloing since Kulve's fight is just damage race.
I tried going in at MR 43 with Critical element from some pieces of Azure Rath armour, artillery from some Zorah pieces, spread and Mighty Bow. I was using the Tobi fully upgraded bow during her full coat phase but still barely did 1-3 damage per arrow with each shot. Do you have any advice with how I can make a better build? Or is my Tobi bow just poopoo?
Question still a bit new how can i unlock the strongarm weapons do i have to do the HR siege 1st or can just do the eternal gold rush this is my 1st time fighting this monster
You have to do the HR Siege and hope that the weapon you want is there!
After beating MR Kulve you can meld both weapon types at the melder. Only reason to do HR is farming zenny (lol), MR Kulve being to hard for you or farming materials for the melder and you prefer siege over slaying.
So If I want a S&S with free meal secret built into it, I have to do high rank kulve? and not this new MR kulve?
You can go for the Tigrex free meal secret as well. You can also use the elder melder to forge HR Kulve weapons from MR and HR Kulve materials.
What kjarr bows are worth it? Do I have to do the siege to get them or can I from MR?
You can get them from MR.
Tenderising both arms and then flinch shotting results in both arm gold plates breaking

What God do you pray to tip RNG in your favor?
They flat out lied to us. She leaves way too easily, its a dps check, just like the seige. Her breath is glitched and can one shot you randomly (1k+ armor and 47 fire defense, and divine blessing secret maxed, im no idiot) and if you happen to cart super early on, she could leave before uou even get back to her. Im not doing this "hunt"

@@freehappymeals9828 Yup this happen to me Twice but was still able to slay her.
That might be a connection or framerate bug. Since it happens with some monster attacks. Something about the lag that cause the damage to proc multiple times (remember the old old True Charged Slash bug). If you lock or have a stable framerate, you should be fine.

Is there any high rank kulve tarroth, I can’t find it in high rank event, master rank one I can’t defeat it.
The siege is High rank, but you have to go to the Gathering hub to do it, like Safi

Darcblade, i only get 1 Pendant from killing Kulve Taroth "Golden Taroth Pandent" but not getting "Golden Kjarr Pendant" for some reason, btw i've never hunt AT Kulve Taroth, maybe because of it.
Yeah, you have to defeat HR AT Kulve for the ability to get the pendants off of MR Kulve, so if you only slayed the original HR Kulve, you'll need to go back and do it again with AT for the Kjarr one.

the ps updates its system and got corrupted. as I looked for a solution I've found out that it needs to be manually udpate using an external device. There's this message that it will delete all installed/saved files in the ps4. I haven't save my file to psn cloud so yeah.. #FeelThePain

Unfortunately there is no fix but we can only learn from our mistakes by saving the new characters. This quarantine going on has me hooked again

What if u never did the high rank Kulve seige ? I don't have any appraisal weapons. Is there any way to get the master rank Kulve and kjar weapons or whatever there are called ? I'm still trying everything to beat alatreon 😭💀
Don't need to finish the hr quest. Just do her mr quest and you'll get what you need.
@@RPGeenius ok thanks. I tried mr Kulve once a few weeks back with a random qroup and he just randomly left after like 5 mins and we failed. Not sure what happened. Guess I need to do my research. There's still so much to this game I have to go online and learn about even after 560 hours.
@@TylerSmith-kn7jk I'm over 2,000 hrs. Still learning myself🙂. The person you were playing with may have had an internet problem. That quest does that to me sometimes too.

@@TylerSmith-kn7jk yes she does have a dps check. Focus on her front legs and chest and wall bang her every chance you get. It's said that fire melts her armor faster but after that you want to use ice. Lightning works against her armor too. Bring a far caster if you need to change your elemental weapon or want to use a status effect on her. Don't forget felyne insurance just in case. Because of the dps check you need to be aggressive. But don't forget to pick up the shinies while you hunt. Hope this helps.👍

Apparently updated Kjarr fast elemental weapons (i.e. Bow, Dual Blades, ...) are meta.
Also the CBs do insane dmg with the safi armor, like the Ice CB has 1200 true element
T1line XD The Ice CB was broken from the beginning though. Like, it single-handedly just about trivialized all other CBs when AT Kulve released.
Dude I cannot beat Kulve taroth to LITERALLY save my life. It seems like she is just impossible to get past the first area. She ran away at 6’44, and I can barely hit her arms half the time because she won’t stop moving. What am I doing wrong? I’m tenderizing her parts and everything.
ik this is really late but tenderize everything then flinch shot every piece easy first pass killing the thing is the hard part

Hey, I'm having trouble getting the master rank kulve taroth quest, we skipped it in high rank to do master rank, but now we are trying to find his tracks to unlock the high rank quest. But we can't find any. Nor can we see the admiral to receive. We did expeditions in high rank to find some but we can't find any. It would be a big help if y'all have a solution.

Well sry to say that but the armor is worse than then safi weapon + tigrex/lunastra bonuses for supporting (kinda the goal of the kt set), and for other weapon than bow and db well... they are bad... like really bad...
Kjarr CBs are apparently stupidly powerful as well.
already videos out of 400+ damage per phial amped and super amped elemental discharges.
But yeah, every other weapon besides those three are out classed.

2. This is not a siege anymore, and according to sources such as Mathalos, u DO NOT need partbrealer anymore just focus on the chest to trigger the molten state for max dps

imagine what a frost craft Kjarr crit draw greatsword can accomplish.
Velkhana set already comes with crit elem, and the elemental kjarr greatswords aren't great

No need to break anything just hit hard, the hunt is really easy man, her horns breaks with little effort, I do an average of 10 to 11 min and I always break the horns, you make it seems like it is hard
