Wow, incredible run there, I’m trying to solo kulve but it’s so hard for me, I’m gonna keep trying tho
I was able to solo her after a dozen tries, (Sticky 3 HBG 1st phase then Rapid Pierce 2 LBG for the rest) and I don't agree with what Capcom did here. The quest timer is a lie, since she escapes if you don't deal enough damage. I barely made it by having 2 stacks of Fortify.
If its taking a speed runner less than 10minutes to solo it’s definitely taking me 40+
ToastMan don’t worry it takes many attempts to get a perfect speedrun
ToastMan it took me 15mins to kill it and I’m not even a speed runner I was just trying to kill her before she escaped
You cant take more than 20 minutes , if you do not pass the dps checks at each level she will leave
I got 14 mins with a more survival build ;)

Dude if your farming i reccomend doing it solo. So much faster and no teammates to die on you

What exactly happened at 2:32 ? Kulve falls down out of nowehere as far as I can tell.
Assassins creed mantle make the monters fall if you hit them when they don't see you, so he use smokebomb to hide and hit Kulve with the mantle on

7:06 how did you draw straight into a guard point? Draw from sheath into axe mode like a normal GP?
Yes, you can practice it with the roars too.
That's the overhead axe draw attack thing (R2 on PS4). The timing is tricky though but it works like a charm for oh shit moments

the way she moves and just her face.
that is all so feminine. also like her horns are so gracefull and you can see she takes pride in them.

Is it true that its gold punch & gold body slam cant be blocked Tii?
Looks like it. I tried using a G5 + Guard Up Lance on both attacks, and well, it punched through as if I'm a stunned hunter with his/her life flashing right before their eyes.
@@soundofenigma then it's not just me that feel it, in ti live stream, the offensive guard activate but still it make the hunter fly away
@@soundofenigma you can guard it with Power Guard, since in Power Guard stamina no longer drains once you are hit making Lance the only weapon in the game that can guard that attack, You still take like 20 percent damage though. still better than 3/4 of your health tho lol.

Tii isn't just any speedrunnuer. They're an optimized terminator for monster threats.
I did it solo on fifth try in 18 mins, it took so long since she just kept leaving in the final stage. Also I found out you can break her horns in the lava area (the one with the boulder).
That isn't true cause EVERY SINGLE TIME I go at it she runs away in stage 1.

Also, just focus on breaking parts to get her out of the first stage, it’s not too hard to do especially with high damage weapons like charge blade.

The ice hitzones on her head got pretty nerfed, but besides that I think it's all still the same.
@@thehat8006 yeah i noticed ice wasn't doing as much damage as HR KT. thunder seems good though for breaking her mantle.
iirc, elemental sucks against kulve except for extreme cases ( ahem kjaar ice cb ) and hzv for raw are phenomenal but only for melee weapons. Bowguns are recommended to use sticky ammo.

why the golden dragon will down after the smoke bomb / assassin's hood . Any special rules ?
tan duxiu yes. That tactic also works with 4 dragon pods, but flinching her during that attack specifically will automatically trip her. The Assassins Mantle gets a guaranteed flinch if you attack while your map is purple, and thanks to its enhanced stealth mechanic you can drop a single smoke bomb to hide and get the flinch.
@@SinfireTitan wow I mostly use assassin's hood for good uptime on an extra 2 decos. this is some galaxy brain stuff
@@vjmb95 I use it for multiple purposes, primarily the enhanced mobility. But yeah it's really good all around much like the Glider now. I occasionally put Handicraft and Protective Polish on them to get more mileage out of a gunlance or frostcraft build, for example.

Non of the KT weapons seem to be worth it for blast. But they are the best for elemental.

I have a question. If the build of Brachydios CB has more damage ¿why all the speedruners and normal people use the Safi cb? ¿Is for the phial damage?

It's because he augmented the Safi CB with 1 Teostra Tecnique, as he has other two pieces of Kaiser as the equip. So to have master touch with two teostra pieces and one augment
David Palmini The CB from Safi’Jiva is still better when u got the very good Decos
But the build of safi whit teostra technique is worst in damage by 0.76% or 1% (ik that difference is irrelevant in a casual hunt) but in a speedruner hunt that difference can be crucial.
Maybe the phial damage in safi can eliminate that difference. Example (that example is not true because i dont remember the real numbers) if you hit an AED whit the brachydios cb your damage is 430 and safi hits 427 but the phial damage in brachy is 48 and safi hits 52, is that difference the reason of why they use the safi cb instead the brachy?
