    Much better than the dodge , that thing has you shifting all the time. But when you really get down to it, if you have to use these things should you be driving at all?

    Way too much to do just to park. With my Tesla, you just double tap the park button and tell it where you want to park. You don't even have to stay in the car. (So it's easier to get out before it goes into a tight spot)

    Only downfall about the new active 2.0, is that you have to constantly hold the “park” button for it to finish the parking. The old active park ford had , yu didn’t have to do that.
    I’d rather park it myself lol.

    • @JVette01

    • @JVette01
      @JVette01  Před 2 lety +1

      You don’t use it to park in a garage. You use it to parallel or perpendicularly park in a parking spot. However, the 360 camera and front sensors will help tremendously.

    The other system was way faster in the previous generation probably because you were manually shifting the gears and controlling the gas which I actually prefer the steering was the only thing that the computer had full control of.

    Is Park Assist 2.0 available on the new Bronco?? Didn't see it listed. Assumed the Bronco would have it since the F150 has it, Explorer, Escape, Edge SUV's....etc.
    Such a worthwhile feature to have. Your F150 parked itself in a very tight space between 2 vehicles. A maneuver that might have got some drivers in trouble. Why not eliminate the possibility of getting it wrong if you have the tech? :) It could also be you were at a party and had one too many. Were able to drive home but your coordination less than it should be. Or a new driver not so confident driving a pickup...pretty larch vehicle with not the best visibility. Odd you have to keep your finger on the P. on the dash...though on the Explorer you have to keep your finger on the Park Assist button on the console between the seats.

    Not doubting the drivers parking capabilities at all because i know hes showing a demo. But that takes way too long and is way more complicated than it should be to park a vehicle. Its nothing to properly park that vehicle in a 1/4 of the time. If you need a park assist because you physically cant park then you shouldnt even be driving.
