About Dome Keeper:
Dome Keeper is a roguelike mining game, where you go on a run to strip multiple planets of their minerals, while the native creatures furiously try to stop you. Just have a rce mode where all enemies are architects and anything thats nice is a engineer

predictive work scaling or planning ahead, that's whats engineerd are the best at.

I think that was actually a good decision... There weren't enough resources on the map to make it worth it. He used every last piece of iron on the map just to max out one weapon tree.

The lift definitely got a massive nerf
@@cjslime8847 it used to be a gravity lift that just slowly pulled everything in it up now it's a conveyor belt that has little arms that can grab three items at a time to pull up definitely different than before definitely slower
Clearly the Sword is the most efficient weapon just by shape alone

I think the game wasn't ready for someone actually beating that wave. Usually when you pick up the final relic thing it brings on a massive really tough wave, and when you're just about to die the orb floats up and kills everything and it says you won. I don't really know, but definitely a bug. :/

Nah it's an achievement to beat the last wave. Definitely possible when you have a bunch of upgrades.

Explanation: they were given keys for early access. The game is way more different from the demo now. new enemies and multiplayer as a post release update.

21:09 Never a good feeling when, empirically, your strongest shape is not long enough.
Looks like instead of slowly lifting everything in the shaft the new elevator has an anti-gravity beam that keeps items in the shaft from falling and has a drone that grabs items in the shaft and takes them to the surface. You can see a dark colored circle sending out tractor beams to pick up the items. It’s slow though because the initial build the drone moves slowly and it only seems to grab 3 items at a time. I still think it’s useful once you reach deeper levels but it definitely got nerfed. Drilbert was the MVP this round.
Also I think items which are being carried by the drone are "mass-less" so the player can go through them and carry other items through them without pushing them out of the elevator. Which I think is a great addition, and at least in this one way an improvement of the lift.
It took me 5 tries to work out what his editor said, worth it.
You can use keyboard if you are on a computer to manipulate the time. J is back 10 seconds, K is pause, L is forward ten seconds, "," is back one frame, and "," is forward one frame.

yeah they nerfed the lift
before: lifts slowly all resources dropped into it no matter how high up in it they are
after: uses a small ball that can only hold 3 resources at a time and goes even slower and only attaches to resources at the bottom, and the lift area prevent's resources from falling so you cant just drop them in instead you carry them to the bottom

By bringing that relic to the surface it suppose to be a key to summoning the hardest/finale wave and when your dome hp is at or below 10% the relic will fly and kill everything and you won. I guess it's a bug or the algorythm didn't expect someone will truly beat the finale wave lol

At some point I’d kinda like to see another satisfactory series. I know rce did some a while ago, but only the archives are left.
I must add, really enjoyed this video, seems like a cool game. Would definitely like to see more of it.
I honestly feel that rce would be better at the game if he didn't have the proximity detector because then he might actually show up before the enemies

You know when you are in the upgrade screen the resources still get grinded for use its the enemy that gets frozen
If you not gonna upgrade new stuff don't take them

Ever heard of the game called Motherload? Oldschool flash game, they eventually made a standalone game on Steam called Super Motherload. No "combat" per se but it's a fun resource collector/upgrade game.

I wish there was an endless mode where you can go deeper forever to see how far you can actually get
Maybe the Super Relic could still exist but instead of ending the game, it will act as a revive system, so you can continue even after death.
Apart from the fact that this dome looks waaay too much like something H.R. Giger dreamed up, for a game that is about being an alien invasor who is plundering a foreign planets' resources, destroys the native species' home and commits genocide, this is actually a lot more light hearted than expected. :)
So girth is more damage and length is more effective and thats how you figure out how it works for the shape of your blade

With that last part... I think the game got confused, as the relic is SUPPOSED to have to save you, but you broke the game by having it not save you, i guess.

Shame they nerfed the lift -- it was always a must have upgrade if you were lucky enough to find it.
But at the same time I understand it is *why* they nerfed it.
The teleporter with the it can transfer resources upgrade is better and then the upgrade that drops its timer from 16 seconds per teleport to 6 seconds per teleport
