- These tornado's might be the most powerful upgrade I've seen in this game. The destruction they caused was just beautiful to see. The builds you can make in this game seem endless so I can't wait to find the most overpowered one and when I do, I'll be unstoppable.

DF you should seriously consider turning off dmg numbers in late game! reduces the lag insanely much!
You gave DF an idea to reduce lag? The man's main goal seems to be to melt his PC every time he starts a game

Here are some recommendations of what you could still do with the youtuber perspective in mind
Note that all of these can be made on Roger, the bird, since they rely on getting certain stats often
-full movementspeed with the lightning strike object, but be aware this one can be annoying due to the high movement speed. Dashes also count as distance traveled but need a high CDR investment, taking away from the movement speed bonus you could take. Dont expect a long game, my recording ended after roughly 25 minutes IIRC
-full cooldown reduction on the cactus Skeleton. He gains a natural bonus for it and if you pick Adrenaline, another 30% reduction at half HP. Hint for title and video: with enough CDR, area, the explosion object and armor+healing object, you can become immortal. Like, literally immortal
-focusing entirely with Pong in mind allows you to make a crazy wild video, especially with the cactus ball object

tbf he really didnt need attack speed with his build, I was way more worried about all that free 100% and 150% damage upgrades he gave up lmao
When everything is a crit, 100% more damage adds on your base total to any base hit (so 20% of 100 base for the aura is 20, every blue crit damage upgrade adds 20 more aura damage, whereas you need to add 100 base damage to get 20 more aura damage)
attack speed was practically worthless in this build, and cooldown is always worth the same, regardless of how much you already have. In case of garlic for example, lets say garlic deals 1 damage each tick and on 100% cooldown ticks every 0.5 second, so DPS is 1/0.5 = 2 damage per second. At 90% cooldown garlic ticks every 0.45 second, so DPS is 1/0.45 = 2.22. 2.22/2 = 1.11, so 11% increase. At 50% ticks happen every 0.25 second, so DPS is 1/0.25 = 4. Basic cooldown upgrade with 10% reduction brings cooldown to 45%, so tick rate is 0.225 and DPS is 1/0.225 = 4.444 4.44/4 = 1.11, so it's again a 11% increase to his previous DPS. Unlike damage, crits, crit damage and attack speed, cooldown reduction always scales the same way, and so in cooldown based builds is always worth taking, regardless of current cooldown.
@@ImAdonai Can't forget that cooldown also effects dash cooldown as well as every other cooldown. Dash and dash upgrades can actually make or break the late game; you don't take damage while dashing, it doesn't actually count as moving, you can get up to 4 instances where the dash itself deals damage, dashes can heal, and with a dash/cooldown focused build you can have crit perpetually boosted to 100% without taking any crit upgrades.
Take steam powered boots on a cooldown/dash build and the dashes never end, infinite invulnerability and infinite damage.
@@GremlinSciences Yes, well, cooldown reduction basicially works equally well for everything that somehow uses cooldown mechanic. Garlic is just most straightforward item for measuring this effect. Dash builds with low cd, dash items and lightning can be very brutal and safe, especially once your armor regen is shorter than dash i-frames and you become immortal.

In bounty of 1 if you play Nigel and slow your projectiles down slow enough you can outrun them and they group up behind you and you can 1 hit bosses

I know you probably didn't see it and this is complete chance, but a few videos ago I actually mentioned this as a viable strategy. Glad to see that I wasn't crazy and that it actually works somewhat effectively

It's so satisfying to see him finally go for area of effect- Also turn off the numbers for late game. Increases performance
Watching DF pick up the same 2 items that ruin his runs the most back 2 back hurt to watch. Both the target only deputies and make enemies faster.
To the editor, I could not agree more, it would have been really nice to see him go without the damage numbers to the point where all enemies just become immortal. I feel as he would have had a very nice reaction to that.
You can turn off the damage counter visual, help a lot with the lag.

Then later on takes an item after grabbing an object reroll item that literally does nothing as he already pierces 5....that pierces when his shots crit.

DF, a 100% Crit damage upgrade is ALWAYS going to be bigger than a damage upgrade after you've gotten 100% Crit.
If you have 2000% crit 100% only add 5% total damage, while a 15% damage boost still adds 15% total damage. But yeah, he ignored way too many crit upgrades lmao
People who don't enjoy DF's content are the reason why Shampoo has instructions

Absolute legend! I play this and Brotato all the time now (your fault) and I can’t get half the builds you make.
My favorite thing to do with this guy is take the snowglobe and either the relic that nerfs projectile speed or LOTS of movement speed, you can keep an infinite number of shurikens in a single point behind you if you keep moving. Oneshots the bosses pretty nice :)

Try building Dash Explotion build, focus on Damage, After dash you explode, increase radeus and cooldown, adding HP extra
Area + Cooldown +Auras + Damage + all the jumps (Minus the hurt and heal one) makes for a REALLY Good build that makes it so you just can't die at the end.

Devs for games like this should adjust late scale damage systems to account for the resource drain. Definitely some ways to paraphrase the damage and represent it as screen-sized over-the-top effects, instead of sticking to the original individual effects.

I got a build proposition with the new update: Use Nigel and try to get projectile slow aura, big bertha and 180 no scope. Don't let it catch you.
Can you make a dash build that makes you dash almost all the time with all of the damage upgrades like leaving a bomb behind and and earthquakes when you land

DF: Gets 100% crit extremely early in the game
Also DF: avoids almost every crit damage increase the game gives him from this point forward.
Never change DF... watching your vids is equal parts relaxing, amusing and frustrating... but never boring :P
Getting more penetration with the shurikens helps the tornado thingie too, same with bounce

Don't know if you plan to do another episode of this game, but I found starting with the cactus guy and investing heavily in ability cooldown to throw more cactus balls, followed by the shuriken and tornado upgrades, lead to a ridiculous blender of insane damage fairly early on. I got to level 60, which is when the game becomes a slideshow instead of a video...

DF, cooldown reduction isn't diminishing. The numbers decrease, sure, but it's always a effective X% reduction in cooldowns.

DF should really pump more damage than crit damage as the crit muliplies the damage, so if damage is low the the crit wont be very high

It is common to go into the GPU market and seeing crypto miners selling their used cards. you gotta be careful because these cards might have gone through a lot of stress and overclocking, but *none are anywhere near DF's GPU*
They also rip parts off the gpu to resell or mod into knockoffs to fake readouts.

Love the vids... just a little tip... turning off the damage numbers will greatly improve your fps when you get into late game with tons of enemies

It feels like the biggest problem with that game (except for the lag) is that you just kinda get automatically outscaled no matter what.
Disabling Dmg. Numbers on Screen will decrease the drawcalls a lot and should fix the lag.
