Dynasty Warriors 3 in HD: VS Mode

Dynasty Warriors 3 had a unique versus mode. Originally I thought of it was just different maps for different one on one fights, but from the very first map you can tell with Hu Lao Gate, that they toke the gameplay in mind when making this game.
Here are the various VS Modes in the game with gameplay featuring Pepper as Player 1 and Salt as Player 2:
