Both Seasons Elise was in, she went to apologize to the diners because of their fuck ups. and sooner or later got the red team kicked out of the kitchen
The chef scott with andrea thing makes me want a season where someone is just oblivious to the sabotages and just genuinely thinks the sous chefs can't cook
I don't think it's gonna work anymore since everyone on Black Jacket has seen it coming now. Also, Andrea is always over the top and overcomplicated everything. Can't believe she made it far to top 3. And she thought she could beat Danny or Paula? Pfft... Bitch, please. You got kicked out in first Black Jacket round for not paying attention to Ramsay's order!
To be fair if it was all planned sabotage there where 7 consecutive ones (I watched it earlier today)
Two words on why Ray didn’t get eliminated:
Zacky Wacky
Ironically he did eventually get eliminated after being sabotaged by Zacky Wacky.
If Ray was 1st boot, i would've died
Sebastian was a prophet. Zacky was indeed too Wacky to be a part of Hell’s Kitchen.
Chef Andi kicking Tiffany out never gets old. It's such a great HK moment and an iconic moment as well 😎
Tiffany: I'm sorry. Andi: No you're not. Damn, she did her dirty there, but deserved
Technically, Andi just told her to take a walk and have some fresh air not kicking her out, but Tiffany chose to the dorm! Which sealed her fate in the competition.
I feel that Ramsay had a major soft spot for both Frank and Sterling. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they both weren’t eliminated the normal way.
What about the fact that both in Season 3 and 8 the person switched from red to blue team was called Melissa and both lasted one service on the blue team. Even more so that they weren't nominated by their team at elimination (Melissa S3 wasn't given a chance to state her plea and was eliminated straight away , whilst Melissa S8 was not initially nominated by the blue team but was nominated by Chef Ramsay)

Speaking of Tad, there was another instance of deja vu involving him. That concerns the first nominees for elimination. In Season 16, Matt and Pat were the first two to be nominated, while in Season 22, Tad and Brad were the first two to be nominated.
This means we have two instances where the first two nominees of the season were from the Blue Team and their names rhymed.
Both Danny (Season 5) and LaTasha (Season 13) made grilled fruits as their Signature Dish and coincidentally, both of them won each of their seasons!
So, if you want to win Hell's Kitchen in a very instant way: Grill a fruit as your signature dish.

I feel bad for Tad. A lot didn’t go his way, like the paprika spilling all over his dish. He did remake it on his Instagram. Looks a hell of a lot more appetizing than what he presented on the show!
You gotta love the various references to Tad in the first few episodes of the show. Like the hilarious broomstick transition wipe by Mattias, or his photo somehow being present when Melissa’s jacket was being hung, and Ramsay asking the blue team if they wanted a broom when they awkwardly sat there instead of retiring.
I believe the reason why his dish looked terrible is because it got cold. Gravy is weird in that it looks like a clump of white fat if it cools. I don't think they had domes for their dishes to retain the heat and moisture.
It looked like he might have burned the biscuits too
Just love how in spite of Frank and Sterling having identical eliminations, their final service performances were exact opposites. Frank got booted while Sterling carried the team.
Anthony's confessional regarding risottogate was iconic
Eh, not nearly as iconic as his confession when Sebastian kept coming back to the kitchen after being kicked out.
Finally, someone talked about Rochelle, she's easily my favorite HK contestant. I've watched season 12 over again just for her.
Yo, a good one would be Barbie from season 10, and Autumn from season 7. Both were hated from their teams, and were seamed to be the weak links numerous times, being put up for elimination. Yet they both made the black jackets, and both got 4th place. And I don’t want to seem racist, but they were both black, which could be a reason to why they were hated so much.
IDK about Autumn being black was a problem since Nilka didn't seem to like her either.
Except Autumn being the punching bag for both of the Red Team and Blue Team while Barbie is just being the punching bag for the Red Team

Coincidentally Julia actually had a very similar season as though two and despite getting criticized constantly by her peers for working at a waffle house she also placed 4th.

Trev making the exact same mistake in the exact same challenge was so god damn funny when I watched it.

One other Deja Vu moment I found is that both seasons featuring Elise have 3 men in the final 4, the only 2 seasons that happened.
There are probably a lot of deja vu's in Challenge Rewards, but at the final four of S22, Ryan and Johnathan got the exact same reward that Dana and Clemenza got at the final six of S10. Jet skis and a picnic on a private cove.

“ Tad not only believed that Quidditch is a real sport, but also, that he’s a real chef. Neither is true.”

“ There’s so many things about India that I love. It’s a shame Gaurav isn’t one of them.”

Another moment of deja vu is T dropping her teammate's dish for hers in both of the seasons that she was on (Michelle on Season 14, Kanae on Season 18), with that decision resulting in her team losing the challenge on both occasions.
You know, I think there’s a pretty big deja vu theme that you didn’t cover - seasons 7 and 8’s elimination patterns. I’ve always found it odd that in Season 7, only three chefs were eliminated from the blue team, and in Season 8, only three chefs were eliminated from the red team. Both seasons saw two early boot chefs leave in a single episode, one conventionally eliminated, while the other left unconventionally, both saw a chef from the more dominant team get switched over and eliminated shortly after, and both saw the third chef from the dominant team get eliminated at around the same time, transitioning to the mid-game. That’s not even mentioning that both seasons had a chef switch back to their original team (the only two times I think it’s happened without it being pointless) - both of whom would earn a black jacket and get 4th overall - and both saw a dominant male chef lose to an underdog female chef in the finale. I don’t know, it’s always stuck out to me as eerily similar, but maybe that’s just me.
An interesting case of Deja Vu:
Antonia from Season 8 and Jason from Season 9 were both med-evacuated before the opening night service even began in their respective seasons.

My faves (in no particular order):
Tad and Louie's signature dishes (both Sausage Gravy over Biscuits) and their legendary (or notorious) first boots (obvious one for me I could watch these back to back if I can; except Tad had a proper elimination)
Gia and Jared: Injury histrionics so elaborate it would make Shakespeare blush like a crimson rose; oh, yeah, as well as having the HK Award for Iconic four boots
Mid-service ejections for contestants named Kevin (S15 and S20). I mean, EEEOUCH!!!! (Hopefully, I see this deja vu moment in the second video, btw)
I mean, none of those can ever be unseen after that!
Don't forget another mid service ejections for someone whose name is Josh (Season 3 and Season 17)
@@margarethmichelina5146 oh, here's a double whammy deja vu moment. Both cases involving the signature dish challenge. Tom, in S2, made a pasta dish with a cold Caesar salad and Mike, in S12, made a pasta dish as well. And here's the double whammy part: Tom topped the Caesar salad on his pasta dish; Kevin topped Caesar salad on his pizza. But as far as the entire signature dish, here's the other part: like Mike in S12, Kevin in S15 put very little effort in it. Mike had packaged tortellini and canned tomatoes; Kevin, on the other hand, had not only premade pizza dough, but also premade Caesar dressing. And yes, very big doozy, but a deja vu moment nonetheless.
Monique made the same mistake in S14.
Hopefully, on Ultratanic's video, we see an entry on how Melissa ruined her team's entire supply of protein for two straight services (filets in the first, scallops in the second).
And the seasons theme gets ditched due to piss poor performances. S18-S21
I feel like Gia was genuinely overexaggerating a complete non-injury, and Jared probably did have a cut, but it was quite small and he just flubbed up. He didn't deserve to go home so early, he was a mid-season boot at worst. Encouraged his teammates and other than CutGate, was okay in services.
I don't quite get the hate for Jared in the HK community.
My theory is Jared probably still miss Ashley who got eliminated earlier and his mind isn't on the competition anymore after she's gone because those two are very closed to each other
Another instance of Deja vu in Hell's Kitchen:
Alyssa (S21) dated Alex (S20) and she was eliminated on the night when it was Trenton's wedding and Hell's Kitchen Alumni coming back. After having an Alex in Season 20 who performed badly and was an early boot, we proceeded to have 2 Alex's (Alejandro is referred to as Alex sometimes) who not only dominated Season 21 and having the Top 2 Punishment Pass dishes, but both also made it into the finals (I know Alejandro came in 3rd, but he was officially announced as a finalist because he made it into the final challenge).
What is also Deja Vu is some of the contestants are so similar is like if Gordon Ramsey has some kind of cloning machine.
Dan from Season 11 and Chad for Season 15 is one example. Their faces look similar, their cooking skills are average and their attitude are bad. Even their exit comments are similar since they hated their teams.
Even Andy From Season 6 and Royce from Season 10 are similar too from their work ethic and personality.
Reality shows rely on personality types/looks, so they look for people who fit them.
For example following Ray (s11) with Richard (s12) and Barbie (s10) almost certainly being cast in the hope of capturing the essence of Elise.

I'd love to see a video of Hell's Kitchen chefs that competed on other cooking shows and how they fared. Both Trev and Tommy competed on Alton Brown's Cutthroat Kitchen show.
IIRC, Trev placed 2nd in his episode while Tommy won his episode.

Also there's many from Hell's Kitchen that competed in Chopped (Will, Guy, Roshni, Frank, Hassan, Roe, there may be more that i'm missing)
Cyndi S11 and Michelle S17 were on the same episode of Chopped. And several have been on Beat Bobby Flay (Heather S2, big Robert, blue Jay, Dani, Jose from rookies vs veterans off the top of my head)
Not sure if it's Deja Vu.... But in Season 1-3, the Red Team lost the first dinner service, the best of the worst (Elsie, Heather, and Melissa) said to one chef (Dewberry, Virginia, and Tiffany) they wouldn't be nominated only to nominate that same person. Funnily enough, Tiffany went home first, Dewberry was second out, and Virginia was runner up.
I don't know if that was a deja by moment but thought it was interesting to say

Andrea pissing off Scott is one of my favorite things. The Sous Chefs usually stay low key (considering the environment) but every now and then Scott goes off like a mother fucking hydrogen bomb and it's hilarious.
Kind of ironic Zach didn’t nominate Raymond, given what he’d eventually do later down the line. I think if he had put up ray instead of Sebastian, he woulda gone home since it looked like Ramsay saw some potential in Jeremy.
How about in both seasons that she was on, Robyn was on the red team, was switched to the blue team and then became a black jacket

Wow we blew over something that I don't think has ever happened before, ANDI kicked out Tiffany because she saw the entire red team doing everything they could she just wasn't. When she told Dana to take over her station Im always like daaaamn, this is a top ten moment.
Crazy how in 2 separate Deja Vu videos in Hell's Kitchen the series 8-9 deja vu wasn't mentioned
A chef was med-evac'ed before the first service after their signature dish influenced the win/loss of the challenge, then in service the older chef on the team was put on fish and got the boot being from the same team as the med-evac'ed chef

Hey big fan of the channel. You obviously don’t need help with video ideas but something I was thinking about was shocking chefs in final, more so the teams the draft how good or bad people do like how good Elsie was. Or best black jacket runs like Bonnie and Bryant.

One I’d also add is that two black jackets named Josh were eliminated mid service, although technically Josh s14 wasn’t a black jacket when he got eliminated in s17 but considering it was an all star season Andy he was there due to his black jacket I thought I’d add that lol

Here's an odd moment of deja vu:
In back to back seasons (season 6 and 7), a male contestant (Joseph in S6, Andrew in S7) quit. What was their placements? They both ranked in 15th place.
One crazy one for me is for both of Robyn's seasons (10 and 17), she switched to the blue team, got a black jacket, and finished 6th place
The first elimination challenges of Seasons 20 and 21 both had instances when a blue team male chef served raw chicken and managed to avoid elimination before the first service.
Matthew in 20 had pink chicken presented before Ramsay, and O'Shay in 21 had a raw chicken wing that Sous Chef Jason bit into.

Another one was Trevor in season 8, episode 9 "8 Chefs Compete," in which he carried the blue team (Rob, Russell, and Vinny). In season 11, episode 2 "20 Chef's CompetePart 2," Zacky Wacky and Christian carried the whole blue team (Sebastian, Jeremy, Dan, Barret, Ray, Michael, Anthony and Jon)💙💙
Theres also an interesting fact about trev in season 8, he f***ed up a salad on the first service and did the same in the final service on the first ticket in Nona's kitchen
In season 10, robyn had 2 standout services on appetizers station on her first blue team service and in Christina's kitchen in the finale
Its also interesting that the blue team in season 3 won the first service and won it again in the final service with 4 of the original team members, on that note, both rock and mike in season 12 served packaged pasta in the signature dish challenge
Nona in season 8 proclaimed being from the south and then kimmie did in season 10

Rochelle was one of the most consistent chefs in Hell's Kitchen History unfortunately she froze every time she had to create a dish from scratch. Maybe not head chef material but you could not ask for a better Sous-chef!
