Are these GMO bananas? HOW do we identify GMO bananas in the supermarket? I hope you keep these bananas as nature intended. I try not to buy GMO products.

vic4rp yes they are. millions are invested in pesticides and genetics to deter disease and pests. brand is all you have to go on, so you need to go to a farmers market and ask. you won't find them unless you live in the southern zones. in general real bananas are not monster huge like the ones in walmart.

icawn Aren't all store bananas modified to be seedless and have bigger bunches? I'm sure if you grow your own tees they'd probably taste better though.
