I love pineapple casserole & when I make mine I melt the butter in the microwave,then I put about 1/3 cup of sugar in the melted butter & stir. Then I crush the Ritz crackers & put them in that bowl of melted butter & sugar, stir together, then put them on top of the casserole. That way all the crackers get saturated with the sugar butter. Then bake.
I've been making this casserole for years. Can't make a ham without it. I just mix my pineapple, sugar, flour altogether in a bowl add cheese. Put the mixture in a buttered casserole dish. Crush my Ritz crackers and drizzle some reserved pineapple juice and butter over the crackers and place on top of casserole. Yummy, yummy, yummy. ❤️
I’ve never tried this before but sounds so easy and delicious I will be making this!! Besides I love anything made with pineapple !!Happy Easter to you and your family.
Last year I left the pineapple in the counter when I went to my parents (planned to prepare there) and had to think fast… all I could find was peaches at CVS… it was great!! My Dad loved it, so this year I’m making it and I swap the flour sugar ratio since the peaches are already sweet. Great video! Thanks 😊
