It added 1.5Hp to this engine. Took some tuning but we finally got some good pulls out of it. Join our Facebook group ZEDA mafia motorized bicycle club
RogueSp33d _ Yea man , I’ve been around a few of em and never knew if it was operator tuning error or a finicky engine , but I always see em having to tweak on the carb and whatnot
You just have to know how to tune them. Thats it. No nitro engines are finicky. Worked at a hobby shop for 8 years. People dont understand the needles or how they work. These things have a low needle, a mid needle and a high needle. You gotta tune the high first, then low, then middle. Once set, you use the same brand of fuel and you'll never have to tune em again. When tuned and broken in right, they'll start first or second pull and idle all day. They are really only aimed for your REAL gearheads and engine guys. Most newbies give up and buy kiddy battery cars because they dont care to learn. If youre a real engine guy and you know what tuning is, you'll figure it out and love it.
Use the exhaust port to change timing , the smaller the bore the higher percent you can run as well adjustments to exhaust pipe cone can increase rpm and horsepower have seen a 7.5cc put out 6 horsepower at 37000 rpm
The biggest problem with nitro fuel is getting it rich enough to run right, that power jet is really important because I'm sure if you removed the main jet completely it still would not be enough and nitro doesn't need as large of a carburetor as gasoline but it needs fuel volume not more air because nitromethane is an oxygenator you may find that restricting the air bleeds in the carb may also help and more ignition advance will help too in top fuel cars they run crazy timing numbers because the fuel burns so slow and it requires so much more volume I would say you would probably need triple the amount of fuel volume over a gasoline setup
I'm building something like this with the 66cc. Adding windowed piston, dio cylinder and Reed valve, bbr tuning torquer upper exhaust, 5.5cc high compression head, stage 1 bbr tuning cdi, and a super magneto. How much do you think that will pull
Meely99 the torquerup exhaust is junk, nothing more than a noisemaker believe me, a fully gutted stock pipe (w end cap left on) would perform much better
Your fuel line is laying on the exsaust stinger. It starving for fuel on the low end. RC fuel runs about 12 to 1 oil. Might be why it is running lean on low end. Also nitro require more advance timing.
Dude! Thats freakin RAD! Omg! The power coming outta these little two strokes is getting insane! I "customized" my China Girl with dremeled piston, raised transfer ports, port matched intake and exhaust with Dellarto carb, 36 tooth sprocket. Not dynoed (I live in Anza, CA) but at this elevation with that work done, (oh, and hollowed out exhaust) does 53mph. What would I get you think with reed valve, windowed piston, and expansion chamber upgrade? And which carb would you recommend? I'm on a budget, so upgrading my "upgraded" China Girl seems reasonable....btw...what you guys want for that expansion on the floor? Lol Thought I'd ask...and to see the bike I built, FB:Brian James Udarbe Cheers!
longbeachgypsy13 man we have tons of dyno pipes for testing. Best pipe is mz65. Also, don’t raise your transfers. Keep them low. :) Carb? Real mikuni 18mm Oz reed with 23mm intake Porting varies. If it’s fast now then leave it alone
I use it and it makes very fast rising rpm when you hit the gas and it does not lower the rpm fast enough for my liking and kind of makes the bike run like crap but as you can tell in the video he added in a bigger jet so maybe if I did that it would help but then there goes my gas mileage or nitro mileage i guess
So where is the O2 sensor at for the wide band so that way at least y'all know how lean or rich to go before you toast that dang thing. Looks like to me you don't use one. But that RC fuel is going to burn way hotter and faster so instead if tearing it up why not do it right?
we have AEM 02. Its just not hooked up for these small motors. Plus, if you notice we do alot of things that normal people do. add this or that. Nobody rides around with a AEM 02 on their bike. lol.
Zeda Motorsports Well regardless the engine size, life , etc An in tune engine is key. You would be surprised if you did hook the wide band up to it. Bet.
Manic Mom Who is the troll? All I was trying to say is if you have all this money invested in an engine Dyno and making pulls and what not along with making videos. Why not Dyno the engine properly so your numbers will be correct and the engine's power and tuning would be best point. By adding just fuel that burns hotter and faster you must be able to flow more fuel or cut the air back because if not then the engine is going to lean out and stop making power and just heat up till it melts so why waist time, money and engine parts to only get jollies from only Doing it the half way ... Hmm must be nice to have the resources to just play and tear things up for the heck of it . The things I could do with just half of your resources.. I am no troll just someone who gets a hard-on when I hear, smell, feel horse power. :)
Spark plugs can tell all you need to know. Im sure most know that longevity and nitro dont go together. Especially on a motor thats not build specifically for it. Rc fuel is like puppy piss compared to the real. I agree with one comment that 50/50 mix with race fuel would prob. Gain power. The snowmobile forums will tell u all u need to know, those guys got alot of time to try shit with brutal weather up north. Its all been done plenty.
Rc fuel runs much cooler than gasoline due to the volume of it required for proper ratios due to methanol content as well as methanol's inherent cooling properties. Higher nitromethane content makes this more pronouced, with an even richer mixture needed. In the RC world, we run into overheating issues when converting TO gasoline.
Klots full synthetic 2 stroke racing oil is what they use I use the same stuff it's really good for the longevity of your motors you can find it at bike shops
Hits like a damn street bike
Don't breath Nitro RC exhaust fumes, it has got some really toxic stuff in it and makes pretty good weed killer.
Breathe- DA!
Top Fuel teams disagree with you. LOL
@@ArthurSperotto Yeah sure cheech, they just wear those respirator masks around running top fuel engines for fun.
The pipe and upgrades make this thing remind me of an old RM80 Suzuki :)
Good lord that thing comes alive after 7K!
Yeah when it gets in the power band
2 stroke powa
Nitro Fuels love 16/1 Compression
🤔 Reeeeaaaally...

That’s a nice motor there
Nitro LOVES timing
I use that stuff all the time for my nitro rc car
haha one of my neighbors has a few nitro rc cars and a nitro helicopter, he can never keep them running, then theres me on my 66cc ripping it everyday

Suzuki Rm 85 pipe , check the plug for the hell of it
How big of jet are you running in this thing it should need a air fuel ratio somewhere in the 5 or 6 range
Send it. Have you had a motor blow up on the dyno
It was running really lean, wasnt?
Wild
Iv got a zbox and want to order a 80cc gt cylinder and piston pluss the best head u have ....I'm in AU's pls reply
Please put this engine setup back on the dyno and shoot it with a little nos...
You guy's were running rich. Did you ever try leaning it out some.?
Bet HP would increase some

Can you pre-mix it with gasoline and inject it as a additive? In the intake ?

Do you guys sell that motor on your website?.
It that a arrow reed or Oz reed? Where can I purchase that big of an intake for it....I know the arrow reed comes with a stock size intake
Brad Appel it's a cdh reed block

blindabinda123 dude he already has forced induction with that expansion chamber
6am Amoeba you are an idiot.
blindabinda123 what is sonic supercharging
Add hydrogen
Nitro with boost bottle
Bro I been trying to get a engine off yous and ur web site. Keeps redirecting me elsewhere
Pure is not 33%??
Tune it on 100% nitro and make another vid
Well its not half gasoline half rc fuel so its pure rc nitro fuel he didn't say 100% nitro
That fuel cost too much to be put in that motor
Eddie lol $40 later

Electric rcs,are not real rcs,get a nitro an youll know
