Thing is if you look at their heroes they have so many galactic lvl gods there and multiverse lvl threats. + They are religion based a lot which can pose an issue when transfering it to the movies. Also a lot of the DC heroes and villains are "I must protect because of being a hero" and "I must destroy because Im bad, I must hurt because Im evil" so they kinda need to do for a lot of them full new motives like Thanos wants to save the universe not to get laid etc. So year now that I think about it. Its really hard as DC simply work on paper but I dont know if they can work with all the PC and the need for grey characters. (Although we didnt see much of the celestials and the multiverse creatures I dont know how can you make characters like Lucifer, The Presence etc. politically correct without any religion background.) Also a lot of the stories is Superman overcoming his enemies against all odds getting powers in deus ex machina fashion which imo would make movie audience angry.
They're both epic different ways. Cap's is awesome for how cool and calm it is and for even before he does anything, his mere presence clearly makes Wanda and Vision sure that everything is gonna be fine and they're safe now, and that's the kind of entrance only a leader can make. Thor's is epic for the immediate display of power, he has literally killed like three dozens enemies before you can even see him.
Ps. The way both made goosebumps! Cap's entrance made me feels goosebumps because literally in the middle of a deadly battle, Cap shows up behind a train and covered by shadows, slowly walked up to reveal his face. Thor's one because last scene we saw him, he was dying (well, that's what I was thinking on theater). Then he shows up like 5 minutes after, with the mighty ax (ps. with the music). Both was epic in different way! 😃

I was a little upset at the Vision and Wanda scene, because up to that point Team Thanos was kicking ass left and right, kinda wiping the floor with our heroes. And them Captain America comes.... AVENGERS SOUNDTRACK starts.... Alien butt kicking can begin. That was the beginning of hope, and that is what Captain America stands for.

It was more of the payoff of Thor's struggles, losses and sacrifices turning into triumph. Within the context of the film, it was more impactful and truly seemed on a grander scale, and not just for his power.
These are probably two of my favourite scenes out of all the MCU movies. Epic. Even got a bit emotional. They never get old. Bruce's reaction is perfect. Thor is freaking awesome and I really don't want to lose him now

Caps still my favorite! Though him hiding the fact he knew Bucky killed his parents was like, Dude? Cap, you for real? I understand protecting his friend and Tony since Tony thought his parents died in just a car accident. More peaceful mindset to have on how your parents died imo. So I never lost respect for Cap there, but a little disappointed. But then the letter at the end of Civil War kind of began to patch things up. Things won't ever be the same. But they can get past the hostility if they haven't already. I mean Tony wasn't flying around hunting them down. So clearly he "accepted" Caps apology. He used his "Taunt" skill to keep attention on him for 5 seconds and then Blocked once towards the end of the fight. They got their asses whooped by a Regular Human using Martial Arts, and one using a Flightpack and a couple of "Uzi's." Cap didn't even swing once! Steve was that high level character who was there in case they needed him, but they didn't need him... And yeah they totally should have killed these 2! Some war... Letting 2 of your enemies Lieutenants go back to him. These 2 honestly could have died here and very little would have changed.

Here, she couldn't even put down either of these squishy bad guys when her boyfriend's life was on the line. So, compared to AoU, hell yeah she got soft (also, what happened to her accent?). She redeemed herself later, sure, but here she was pretty weak. As for the OP, it was more like Cap assisting Falcon and Black Widow. Cap barely did anything other than catch the spear and block to protect Widow.
Some people in this comment section have made it their mission to make it apparent that Captain America's entrance is the superior one, bc of his reasons for fighting, etc... and they even downplay Thor's awesome entrance. while I completely understand that we all have the right to speak what we feel, so do I -- AND honestly, why can't both of their entrances be regarded as equally cool, bc they are! Captain's entrance is cool in a subtle way where he's coming to save his friends. Thor's entrance is super epic in a large way, and he's coming to save everyone and kill thanos. captain is overjoyed to see him, and vice versa. i just believe that both are awesome in two different ways.

When I saw the title these are exactly the two clips I immediately thought of! This series of 22 films over 10 years have more iconic movie moments than you can count. Still exciting to watch every time.
They’re both so amazing in their own ways, but I think I have to go with Captain America’s entrance. Caps was so much more emotionally based. We hadn’t seen anything from him since Civil War, when he’d officially given up the mantle of being Captain America, and for that the be the first time we’d seen him in two years, it was like a old best friend stepping out of the shadows for a reunion. There was also something spectacular about how simple his entrance was. All he had to do was walk into the light and the whole theater cheered. Thors entrance was so perfect in every way. We’d witness characters we’d been with for years losing the most important battle of their lives. So to see the bifrost open and for the axe to come out killing dozens of enemies at a time made that moment so rewarding. He tipped the scales back so they had a fighting chance. The music was so powerful for each of them, I don’t understand how marvel can make such good films. Thors is just epic, but with Caps entrance being so simple and impactful I’d have to crown him the winner.
What makes Thor’s entry better is like everyone reaction like they haven’t seen Thor for over 2 or 3 years and he suddenly shows up with a new haircut, new suit, a tree and a raccoon, new hammer and way more powerful and he comes to save them all when they so badly need it

Such a tough call! Cap's is more emotional whereas Thor's is more powerful, if that makes any sense. When Cap showed up and the music changed to his theme song I felt the hair on my neck stand up, but Thor made me want to stand up and shout.

It was more of the payoff of Thor's struggles, losses and sacrifices turning into triumph. Within the context of the film, it was more impactful and truly seemed on a grander scale, and not just for his power.

He used his "Taunt" skill to keep attention on him for 5 seconds and then Blocked once towards the end of the fight. They got their asses whooped by a Regular Human using Martial Arts, and one using a Flightpack and a couple of "Uzi's." Cap didn't even swing once! Steve was that high level character who was there in case they needed him, but they didn't need him... And yeah they totally should have killed these 2! Some war... Letting 2 of your enemies Lieutenants go back to him. These 2 honestly could have died here and very little would have changed.

He had this cool,assured look. almost like that the- sheriff's-in- town- now demeanor. credit also to how Black widow and Falcon worked with Cap to take down those 2. Bit surprised at how 'soft' vision and scarlet witch seem to have become in this movie. lol. i guess that's what love does to you. BUT at the end of the day,Thor's entry was just the most awesome moment in the entire move IMO.

Here, she couldn't even put down either of these squishy bad guys when her boyfriend's life was on the line. So, compared to AoU, hell yeah she got soft (also, what happened to her accent?). She redeemed herself later, sure, but here she was pretty weak.
As for the OP, it was more like Cap assisting Falcon and Black Widow. Cap barely did anything other than catch the spear and block to protect Widow.
Some people in this comment section have made it their mission to make it apparent that Captain America's entrance is the superior one, bc of his reasons for fighting, etc... and they even downplay Thor's awesome entrance. while I completely understand that we all have the right to speak what we feel, so do I -- AND honestly, why can't both of their entrances be regarded as equally cool, bc they are! Captain's entrance is cool in a subtle way where he's coming to save his friends. Thor's entrance is super epic in a large way, and he's coming to save everyone and kill thanos. captain is overjoyed to see him, and vice versa. i just believe that both are awesome in two different ways.

They’re both so amazing in their own ways, but I think I have to go with Captain America’s entrance.
Caps was so much more emotionally based. We hadn’t seen anything from him since Civil War, when he’d officially given up the mantle of being Captain America, and for that the be the first time we’d seen him in two years, it was like a old best friend stepping out of the shadows for a reunion. There was also something spectacular about how simple his entrance was. All he had to do was walk into the light and the whole theater cheered.
Thors entrance was so perfect in every way. We’d witness characters we’d been with for years losing the most important battle of their lives. So to see the bifrost open and for the axe to come out killing dozens of enemies at a time made that moment so rewarding. He tipped the scales back so they had a fighting chance.
The music was so powerful for each of them, I don’t understand how marvel can make such good films. Thors is just epic, but with Caps entrance being so simple and impactful I’d have to crown him the winner.
What makes Thor’s entry better is like everyone reaction like they haven’t seen Thor for over 2 or 3 years and he suddenly shows up with a new haircut, new suit, a tree and a raccoon, new hammer and way more powerful and he comes to save them all when they so badly need it
