I do bike tours in Germany, and fortunately, no dogs have chased me so far. Just they started to bark loudly and tried to get out of the village house yards, but I was lucky because they were chained. Dog chase is a nightmare for cyclists.
I love your videos so much. One question have you ever gotten bitten by a dog chasing you and if you did can you make a video talking about it. I ride daily and by my neighbourhood I have alot of scary dogs that chase me.
I have had countless dog interactions and a bite in rural areas, luckily able to out ride or kick my way out. Local rider in my area this past fall lost left leg below the knee, had to have reconstructed right leg and almost lost their life if not for a passing motorist intervention from a 3 dog attack while riding. It has changed my way of thinking and now I carry bear spray as a chance for a last resort.

My advice, don't play into their chase game. Slow down and engage them as I do.

Hello, I've been fortunate to have never been bitten by a dog. A few close calls, none of which I managed to capture on video / no camera available.
you're riding a road bike in that Rocky road... fat tire e bike would be ideal
People can ride whatever they like, IMHO.

Which is something I would never use.
