This one hits a sweet spot for me. Bit of classic nostalgia with the design, but modern convenience with the ability to charge, hours of run time, and the extendible feature. I camp with my kids and while they might not appreciate the nostalgic overtones, I do.
Hey doc, if you are looking for any encouragement to record product reviews in contexts that the products are expected to be used, for example, this one, count me in. Good job! I'd love to see more reviews like this one. Have a nice day.
That is actually pretty slick, the extension light. I have a couple of led lanterns, used them a couple weeks ago. Lost power for 23 hours. Getting the light higher up would make a huge difference. Thanks for the video and review brother. Edit to add, i have a old Coleman tube lantern, D cell.
I am sorry, but there is nothing like the glow and hiss of a Coleman fuel lantern. I have four Coleman's and my oldest is 42 years old and the newest is about 15 years old. I would like to see those lanterns in the video in 15 years, let alone 42 years. If you want nostalgia and longevity, buy the genuine Coleman.
